we had a HUGE rainstorm last night. I missed most of it because I was asleep, but when I went outside to wait for my mother to go have lunch some people were using buckets for bailing the water out of the porch of the ground-floor apartments. which is all closed in with with and a roof. And when I saw the inside of it the whole place had water up past their ankles! I never saw anything like it in all the years I've live in this building.
I went out with my mom and then did some shopping. When I got back they were still bailing it out but most of the water was gone. In spite of it being a pain hauling groceries up my stairs and garbage down it it makes me glad flooding is one thing I don't have to worry about unless it gets to something like Biblical proportions! :)

About 80 degrees and dry as a bone. Sunny though, that's always a plus.

82F (about 28C), very dark overcast, looking like it's getting ready for our typical PM thunderstorm this time of year. Otherwise eerily calm out.

Grey, murky, overcast, humid. 23C or so. No rain, but there were a few thunderstorms earlier today.

Sunny, 26°C. A beautiful day. Pretty warm for winter. But it's still cold inside the house.

Upper eighties or even ninety. Damn hot. And this was just after rain and cold weather just a few days ago.
They have a saying here: if you don't like the weather in Spokane, wait fifteen minutes.

It was so warm, sticky and humid today that when I went shopping I practically swam home afterwards.

It's wet and cold again, and the high was only in the sixties. Goes to show you the old saying around here is true: if you don't like the weather in Spokane, wait fifteen minutes.

In the high sixties, low seventies during the day, though overcast. Nights are getting colder.
