((Hugs)) It isn't a sign that your brain isn't functioning :( It's a sign that you have other things on your mind, and that you are able to prioritise what's more important. I'd rate the alphabet pretty low on my personal totem pole.

I woke, like most days, with back pain. I'm not sure what is causing it but whenever I apply pressure to my back I get back pain of the sort that wakes me up 4 hours into my sleep, from which I am unable to return to sleep.

I'm basically sleep deprived right now and no doctor is helping me.

Yeah you're right , I obviously rate the alphabet too high.

So long as you don't work in the "alphabetical order field" of filing for a living, and you know that F is for Ferris, you're golden.

I've finally met the professor who will tutor me at my final project... she was really nice but I'm more confused than I was before and I was expecting the contrary. I'm now unsure if it was a good choice.

People are always confused at the start of a big project. You don’t have to know everything at the start.

The whole idea of projects is to learn. You will become less confused as the project progresses.

What do I do when my carbon monoxide alarm keeps beeping, but I can't stop it because it's hard-wired into the wall?

Oh jeez ... they're all beeping now all over my house with the warning lights going.

Still beeping.

Can you take out the batteries? It might need new batteries.

No, they are hardwired into the wall and there are several around my house all screaming warnings.
I talked to my brother and I'm calling for help now.

Call the company who makes that detector, if you have the number.

Do you know the name of the company?

Has anybody come from the company yet?

I sent you a PM. It turns out that one of the detectors was old and defective, so because it was hardwired into the electricity it sent a signal to all the other ones. All fixed. No C02, and the bad one was removed for me. I'm all safe 8) .
Thanks, Korts.
