Made me happy... getting home after a surprise emergency car repair thing, and finding out that yes, I really had turned off all the lights and the power strips that needed to be turned off, and my dear kittycats were still fast asleep on my bed, exactly where they were when I left them four hours previously (which was supposed to be maybe 45 minutes).

Trust me, after all the fun and games, that kind of relief = major happiness, I'll take it.

That is a big relief, Esmeralda! Good to know everything is okay and your kitties are safe and sound.

As for me, I went to a good Officers' Training event for Toastmasters and had lunch with a friend.

I finally tackled some important paperwork that I have been afraid of / putting off for about three years! I have a terrible time with executive function: organization, planning, starting, staying on task, and finishing. Paper completely overwhelms me so I had no idea where to start. I wasn't going to do it at all, but woke up and decided today was the day. It took me 10 hours to do what others would likely complete in 2, but it's finished ... down to every tiny micro-detail, and ready to be submitted.

Yay, me!

Receiving a 10% discount on a major purchase for being a veteran.

The amount of the discount was well over 1 hundred dollars ...

The fiber gummies I was going to buy were on a buy one & get 2nd one free sale & the Rogaine I was thinking of buying now(I may of waited another week) had a $10 off of a 3 pack sale. I normally get 20% off most things at RiteAid cuz I spent enough last year to get enough points to be in that bracket but these sales were even better.

The meds I ordered online a couple weeks ago came in. I order meds from two sites overseas, BM & IH. I order with at least a month left & they come in before I run out. However BM is the site that's usually quickest to come in. I made an order from there two months ago & it took about 40 days before the meds came in which was much longer than usual. I had emailed the site asking about it cuz I thought the meds were lost. They said the US postal service was being very slow to accept shipments from them. It was about time for me to make an order from IH & I decided to order 50 days in advance instead of waiting till I got another SSDI payment because I could afford it & I was afraid the meds may take longer than usual to come in since my last order from BM was so slow. BM usually takes a couple weeks & IH usually take a couple weeks to make it to the US & my last IH order took a little over a month to come in. I made my order from IH a couple weeks ago & they came in today which is shocking since they never come in this fast from there, from BM yeah but never IH. It's odd that when I'm expecting it to be slower that it actually is faster than usual.

Awwww... thanks so much!

I still can't believe I did it.
I assumed I never would, even though it will benefit me considerably in the long run!

My parents took me to the wildlife park, and then to the Dairy Queen. :)
