With this coming GST deposit, I'll be buying a Germany shirt. I'll buy a Kinks shirt when I get my Christmas bonus deposited in my account. I see everybody wearing shirts of their favourite bands. It's a very fashionable trend.

I don't want an easier life.
I want an easier existence. :x

One doesn't mean the fricking other.

My life is easy.
To a point people assumes things and it's stupid.

My existence is not.
No one around me in real life would understand.

The way that Vera Lynn sings reminds me of the way my Auntie Jo spoke. She had a bit of a Cockney accent. Come to think of it, so does my dad. Her name was Joanne. I don't have any trace of any British accent. I sound German.

I wouldn't say that I'm an unpopular member. I'm just different from the rest. I come from an earlier, more simpler time in spirit. I'm more old-fashioned than the rest. I'm that window into the 1940s that's very hard to find. Young men and women fighting in the war, wives watching the harbour lights. Neurodiverse people working in the factories who couldn't quite make it into their countries armies. Women working in factories. Fireside radio shows. Educational content for the lucky few across Europe who owned TV sets to watch. Newscasts about the war on the radio and those small TV screens. The second half of the same decade when the baby boom started and TV came to North America. There very first years of peace time and the advent of The American Dream. Girls wearing bellbottoms for the first time and women with their hair done nicely. Christmas music was also very tasteful in those days

That sounds lovely. ^

What does it say about me living in the 1840s?

I love it when I'm all snuggled up in bed at night.

I love when I've done a biceps and back workout and my muscles go all warm and it feels like a hug
