They sent a joiner out which was about as much use as a chocolate teapot. Someone who knows what they're doing might come in the next few weeks.

Oh you should see the state of our communal hallways after they sent a bunch of cowboy joiners round to put new electricity cupboards in....what a joke

This was three weeks before Christmas and there's still a yard brush l, an empty coke tin and a load of planks of wood just left there for anyone to trip over

Me and my neighbour was planning how we could get an injury claim out of it

Cheers bb. Wigan council are bloody useless on repairs. On the gin and lemon diet tonic this morning. Just put a few bids in on new flats/bungalows so hopefully might get out of this s**thole soon.

Yea, no f*****g annoying neighbours above mouthing off out of the bloody window and my neighbours opposite not all stood outside smoking in the -3 cold. Bunch of nutters the lot of them.

I actually get on with my neighbours quite well but they can get a bit loud from time to time

It doesn't help that there's a housing crisis and both my neighbours on my floor have got 6 people crammed into a 2 bed flat. I'm just glad I don't live underneath them

Yea, the housing crisis is pretty bad. If I get a bungalow I'll consider myself pretty lucky. Realistically might have to wait 14 months until I'm 55 though.
