^ Thank you for the good wishes! well actually he made a little repair on the shoe and told me to wait a few days before wearing it. He asked for my number and said he'd give me a call to tell me when i can. Not sure if it counts as flirting but he also told me i'm really pretty so that's probably why i took it that way. Either way i was flattered even if he was being nice and it made me happy.

He told you that you're really pretty and you thought he was "trying" to flirt? That's a rare statement from a guy. Usually they are (understandably) too reserved or shy to say something so direct.

When he calls, ask if he will walk with you to break in the shoe repair. You may need a chaperone

Reading your posts made me giggle so i'll add this as another thing that made me happy: Talking with nice and funny people online!

I successfully finished my coveted daily walk even though it was much hotter and much more humid than I find comfortable. And now I'm typing this in an air conditioned room. Both of those things make me happy.

Thank you. It's my time of respite from the workday in the NT dominated world. I can be myself by myself. I can say hello to all the wonderful dogs who live in that neighborhood as I pass by telling them to "have a great day!". I can wonder out loud. I can pluck a leaf and smell it. I can be free....

There is one dog in my neighborhood who barks and bites at everyone but likes me. He was beaten by his previous owner severely and it's an incredibly sad story.

Dogs never react aggressively towards me, not even guard dogs, they start to wag their tails at me when I come close. Maybe it's because I have no fear at all for dogs, don't know.

My school was near an insane asylum and I played with the guard dogs which the trainer found unbelievable. They would stand between my legs and growl at the trainer sometimes. Don't know what it is with me and animals.

dogs never liked me much, with very few exceptions [my sister's late sheltie, which is an anomaly because every other sheltie I've seen always attacked me]. but cats seem to love me, the neighborhood cats come up to me when I walk, and jump on me.
