a: I used to when I was very young sometimes but I don't do it now. My father used to do it and once woke up on the lawn in his boxer shorts; another time he woke up in a hole which had been dug by workmen in the street (although I think that one was from being drunk rather than sleepwalking :/).

q: Bath or shower? Why?

Shower because I do not want to see hair in the water. Also, it take longer to fill the bath up.
