Having a long list of goals for my future and wondering if any of them will be achieved. These are goals typically achieved by people between the ages of 25-30, and I'm 54. When I think of how much I still need to do, I can't be happy about how far I've come from the nobody I was ten years ago.

Hold on, Istomin!! I've read before that you're very proud of your accomplishments in the recent past including taking tennis lessons and being the president of your Toastmasters. List more positives for yourself because I know they're there.

Don't use other people's standards for accomplishment, just your own!

I found out my aunt died today. She's been battling cancer for a while & wouldn't wake up today. She had been having problems with her blood where she needed to be given a lot sometimes. My mom saw her yesterday & said she was doing pretty good. It's good she was doing better on her last day. I never had a close realtionship with her or anyone in my family really including my parents. I'm worried about my mom some but am doing OK for the most part.

It was like that with my grandfather, he appeared to get better and then passed away two days later. The saving grace here is that your aunt is no longer in any pain or suffering, may she rest forevermore.
