Sore gland in my neck.

the new year encroaching too close for comfort, the holiday season merely takes the sting out of it.

I have long since given up on this, "New Year, New You" thing. That's just nonsense that sells books. I try to improve myself every day.

I heard that the Romaine lettuce in Canada contains E. Coli. Again!

This is why during the winter I normally stay away from vegetables that can't be cooked, like lettuce. Also they might be imported from parts of the world where food safety is not as a major concern as it is up here.

I feel like, at this moment, I don't want to trust my boyfriend.

For the next three days.

A friend of ours had a massive heart attack and my mama just called and told me she's in the emergency room with him.

I received my diagnostic report this week and learned that autism isn't my only issue. I have NVLD, too. I feel like the odds of succeeding in life are stacked against me even higher now, and I'm nervous. I've always relied upon my academic strengths as the means to overcome my impairments, but I realize that homeschooling is probably the only reason I was able to do well in high school. College is an even more daunting prospect now.

I think you are very intelligent and describe your issues very well. I think you have a good chance at success. I wonder if I might have NVLD as well, because my spatial skills are terrible, even though my verbal skills are strong.

I made a really bad mistake today because of forgetfulness, and I'm angry at myself.
