That is scary! I hope it doesn't set him back too much. I think I would be ready to move about now....

Thanks, blazingstar! The worst fact is that we aren't in an urban area.
The stabbing was totally random violence, and the robbery was at a gold exchange.

My pet cat died. She was one of the youngest cats I had, and she was the sweetest and cutest pet I ever had. She was about 4 and a half years old.

That's sad to hear, may she rest in peace. Sorry to hear your sad news :(

I'm unhappy today because I've got a cold and it's making it hard to concentrate and do things.

I would just like to say that medical office receptionists are consistently and reliably the most obnoxious people on the entire planet.

A woman in next room is letting her child throw a ball around on walls. I knocked on her door and asked him if he would please stop throwing his ball around.
She said to him, "No, this is your room, keep doing what you're doing."
And, didn't even address me, the b#**#.

I feel fine but my blood pressure is off-the-charts lately. Today is 173/ 110. Not good with a history of stroke, and having a congenital heart issue. I already take BP meds. :( Years ago I needed meds because I had chronic low pressure (down to 64/40 and requiring hospitalisation). I think I'm totally out of whack now.

:( Is there anything you can do to help bring it down?

I don't know. I take my medication and drink lots of water, eat healthy food and walk my dog daily. My PTSD has been more manageable lately than ever. I sleep about five hours a day. Maybe I need more sleep, but I'm not tired.
