So that tape of yours would just be redundant!

he cribbed off of hisoner, the late chicago mayor richard daley, who said of his reaction to the chicago riots, "the police aren't here to create disorder, they are here to preserve disorder."

Very believable science fiction setting. Its believable that they would have a dome for viewing the vista. And that such a dome would be perpetually cloaked in dust. Mars is prone to dust storms.

it was one of the very few sci-fi dreams i get to have. most of the rest of my dreams are a cross between terrestrial rod serling and pedestrian phillip k. dick. i wouldn't mind having the occasional visionary ray bradbury dream, those would be so poetic. i wonder what a phobos/deimos dream would be like.

I was watching 2012 EATB performing the song Heaven Up Here on my mum's flatscreen... Mac had much softer facial features, like Richey Edwards... My mum was randomly going on about the phrase 'can't see to steer' I was like 'Yeah, it's in the song' (and you're interrupting me), and she said other things, and I ended up being very mad at her.

Yes, it was a dream, though it sounds like a normal day in my life, doesn't it?

Before waking up, about an hour and a half ago (after 4:30 in the night), I was talking with a small group of people, who I somehow knew from before. They were maybe three, sitting in a circle around a round table, talking about a children's book about a raven that they were reading, but while the book was a children's book, it still was perfectly suitable for adults to read, as well. I realized that I recognized the story, but I hadn't read that particular one; I had read a new version of it. Soon I realized that the story wasn't just a story - what happened in the book was happening in real life, too, and since the raven was going to die in the book, I got really concerned, as I knew the raven from before. I started talking with my mother about him (the raven), saying how I was upset about how he never really cared about me. My mother told me that that wasn't true at all, as when I used to cry (a bit over a year ago, to a year and a half ago, I perceived it as, in the dream), he used to sit by me, on the side of the bed, to be with me. That just made me more upset to hear, though, because now that bird who cared about me was going to die, and I had just spoken negatively about him, even. But then someone (probably a she) came and said that he/she had found him, and that he maybe could be rescued, but he would be blind for the rest of his life, afterwards. I came to take a look on him, and both of his eyes somehow had been poked out. I thought to myself how it had happened. Had he flown into twigs in a tree, and they had poked them out, or what? I then thought of how his life would be, as a blind bird, if he would survive. Then the dream ended.

I really wonder if there could be some mysterious meaning to it.... :3

i had a strange dream that was seemingly preconceived to be humorous to me, but i am not sure how i could have preconceived that dream because i never thought about it before i had the dream.

anyway, the dream was that i owned a boeing 727 aircraft, and i was flying from sydney (kingsford smith airport) to brisbane international airport following a flight plan that i put into the GPS that was to be executed by the autopilot.

after i took off and intercepted the first vector which the autopilot locked on to, i did not have anything more to do for 55 minutes (until the point of descent into brisbane) because the autopilot was controlling everything.

so i wondered what i could entertain myself with during the flight, and i went back into the cabin loungeroom where i had a computer, and i fired up the flight simulator and plotted a flight plan from sydney to brisbane (identical to the one i was really flying) and i flew it using the autopilot.

what a strange irony.

i am sure that situation could be worked into a sitcom.

I had a best friend. Then I woke up.

There's more to it though, like he was big and muscular and made partly out of rock. He keep lifting and pushing houses out of the way so I could get to where ever I was going.

Earlier I was walking on a green grid of numbers made of Pi.

Math
To dream about mathematics indicate that you are evaluating a situation in your waking life where you need to be more rational in your thinking. Try not to act on your emotions. To dream that you are unable to solve a mathematical problem or equation parallels a waking problem where you may be confused about. The dream may offer a hint toward a new approach to this waking problem.Something does not add up in your life.
Numbers
To see numbers in your dream symbolize material gains and possessions. You are keeping close track of things. Alternatively, numbers indicate that you are being over analytical or rational. Or that you need to evaluate a situation more thoroughly. Numbers also carry much personal significance. They may represent a special date, address, age, lucky number or something meaningful and significant to only you. To hear numbers in your dream mean that you need to pace yourself in some situation. Or perhaps you need to calm down and take things a little slowly. To see odd numbers [such as Pi] in your dream indicates unresolved issues and aggressive behavior in your life. You are feeling off balance.
Green
Green signifies a positive change, good health, growth, fertility, healing, hope, vigor, vitality, peace, and serenity. The appearance of the color may also be a way of telling you to "go ahead". Alternatively, green is a metaphor for a lack of experience in some task. Green is also symbolic of your strive to gain recognition and establish your independence. Money, wealth and jealousy are often associated with this color.
old DOS PCs also had green screen displays, this may factor into your dream in the following ways-
To dream about mathematical programming/equations/math functions represents your mindset. The dream warns that you are doing things by rote. You are not thinking through what you are doing. Alternatively, the dream indicates a lack of autonomy over the direction of your own life.
Pi/numbers in general, relating to modern technological life
The French call computers "les numerateurs" [or something like that, my french is less than mediocre]. and so, to see a mathematical or number function in your dream symbolizes technology, information, and modern life. But such modern technology represent a lack of individuality and lack of emotions and feelings. Too often, you are just going along with the flow, without voicing your own opinions and views. You may also feel a depreciated sense of superiority. You are feeling overwhelmed and that you are at the mercy of impersonal external forces, that you have too little direct control over your life. You are walking forward in your life but to uncertain ends, with no clear feasible goals in sight or foreseable in your world view. Thus, to dream that you are walking on a grid of green Pi numbers would indicate that you feel that your world is a never ending stream of challenges that cannot resolve to a sensible conclusion. Your giant rocky friend represented your continuing struggle against the conundrum which is life in our crazy world, in general, and your wish for a panacea or powerful answer to the universe.

i dreamt that i was in some mysterious warehouse full of weird arcane mechanical thingies of all shapes and sizes, and something caused me to walk to the end of the warehouse where there were racks of the weirdest tools i'd ever seen, i had no clue as to what they were about, they might as well have been from pluto for all i knew. there was one rack which caught my eye, it was full of these cylindrical metal tools that looked a bit like a cross between picks and rasp files, but they were all curved in ways that i could not understand the purpose of, they looked almost like a reflection in a funhouse mirror. then my attention was distracted by a forklift driver moving a large unmarked box behind me at a high rate of speed. then i walked outside, got into a nice luxury car and drove to what i thought was going to be home, but instead i ended up at a winding hilly path which grew narrower until it was hardly wide enough for a car. then for some reason, my car keys flew out of the ignition, stalling the car. the keys flew out the window, soared in the air, then plunged to the ground, smashed into bits, half of which were on the ground outside my car door, the other half over the side of the road and down about 20 feet, in a flowing stream. i had no choice but to get out of my car and clamber over the ledge and start wading in the stream to retrieve the keys, but as soon as my feet hit the water, it all disappeared and i found myself inside a series of different indoor hallways, connected by a bunch of different doorways of different shapes and sizes, some opening in the middle, some sliding out of the way, some like regular doors and others like the sliding elevator doors in Star Trek- until i wound up in the last room where the other half of my car keys were lying on the floor, and as soon as i bent over to pick them up, i awoke.

I had this dream or should I say Nightmare.

I still had my old contact worker at Stepping Stones and she broke into my apartment and confiscated all of my Kinks stuff. I've threatened that I was going to commit suicide if she didn't smarten up and give me back my stuff. She phoned the ambulance on me and I've ended up in the Mental Ward in the hospital. I told the nurses the entire story and what that woman is like.

Now for the happy ending:

I got all my stuff back and that woman got fired from her job at the clubhouse.

i had another dream about "box" cannons last night.
it was hilarious to me and it woke me up (blast!) because i was physically laughing, and i undulated myself to consciousness.

the dream is founded upon the existence of an absurd way that human societal evolution may have unfolded in a universe that is our own universe, but with a few aspects changed in a way that is humorous to me.

in the dream, the method of delivering stock to shops and warehouses was by shooting it out of cannons with projected trajectories that would result in their accurate arrival to their collection zones.

but the sky was full of tens of thousands of boxes traveling in the directions of their projected elliptical arcs on their way to their destinations.

the air was full of "booms" of varying pitch and intensity, and the combined percussion of all the near and distant dispatch cannons firing was an hilarious cacophony of absurdity, and that, (combined with the comically evasive actions of people anticipating the trajectories of boxes that are approaching their area, and the visual idea of the destruction of certain objects upon their delivery) , was why i was propelled into a state of extreme hilarity.

I had a dream that I was staying at a resort and I was hungry so I decided to go to one of the restaurants located around the resort. I ordered a hamburger and the cook said it would take about 10 minutes to cook because he had to restock the ingredients. I was kind of mad because the man in front of me ordered the last hamburger that was ready. I ended up waiting for about an hour and I got mad. I stormed out of the restaurant because of bad service.

I dreamed I was in a wood at night, and I had this snazzy red robotic/armoured suit on. Some people were chasing me, and I just went invisible. Also I could run on water, so I went running invisibly along a river.

Two last night. As recorded this morning in a half-awake state: There was something about corporations, something else about marrying someone but the sister thought he'd killed the father, there was a church and flowers and a game that was equal when it shouldn't be and a big bag of Smiths salt & vinegar chips. Something was underground... there was a river and rocks and blue light. I think I escaped. Much of outside resembled Dragon Quest.

The next one is creepy as creepy can be: It is in a stone room, I believe at the top of a tower. In the middle of the room is a seat and a big glass box. In the seat is a woman with long, auburn hair. In the casket is water, crystal clear, and the corpse of a woman who looks exactly the same as the other woman, but (obviously) dead. The living woman says "Oh, how you must miss me" in this wistful, sing-song voice.

At her words, the corpse starts thrashing around in the casket, limbs flailing, and its actions loosen a door on the side somewhat. The living woman laughs, reaching down to click the door shut, and says "oh, oh dear, I'm sorry, I should have realised that would make you upset."

The corpse, by the way, despite being female and identical to her, was her husband.

The living woman then lifts the lid of the casket. The corpse gets up and now that it is out of the casket the water is streaming off it and its skin is flaking off in these large square patches. The living woman realises she should be afraid because HELLO? ANIMATED CORPSE? and she screams and runs.

Seriously, Freud could probably have written an entire book on the content of my dreams alone. I have a bizarre mind.

I don't remember when exactly I dreamed it, but I dreamed that I was at home with many kinds of birds, all of them in cages and they were all making lots of noise and one of them screamed in my ear and then I woke up.

Well I have had 2 dreams recently involving bad stuff. Not like gore but for example "John" I know in real life did something bad. or it turns out serial killers around my age got off on chargers and are going to be living across the street (raising hope tv show, somehow I took it bad in the dream). Both times there was about to be a fight, then I realized something was illogical, and I woke up. One coincided with my alarm clock
