Florence is now category 2 and it looks as though it won't be heading towards the area where I live :-).

Flip side, it may stall off the Carolinas and a Cat 2, stalled offshore, is still capable of doing tremendous damage to those nearby :-(

I had a very enjoyable game of chess. It ended in stalemate but I seem to be improving.

Spent the evening with mom and little sister watching TV... My mom has three cats so it was lovely to see them.

I had a bad day at University today but it was somehow a cathartic moment. I talked with my professor and she allowed me to work alone instead of groups... I feel relieved and I managed to progress a lot already.

I've decided to open my mind to London and England again a couple of days ago, and I'm feeling better for it. I'll always prefer Germany over Britain. I always have. It's nice to know that part of me came back to life.

A good, productive Toastmasters board meeting-a lot got accomplished. It went on a little long and I was starting to get anxious about driving home in the dark, but I got home safely.
