I wonder why they thought chopping heads off would help sell the stuff?

You can get a Turkish Delight effect by daubing rose water on a bit of ordinary chocolate. Probably doesn't save much money, but it's a nice change if you've got a bar of ordinary choccie and you get bored with it.

I don't suppose they filmed it in Turkey but I bet they didn't specify the country it was supposed to be. And as it was advertising Turkish Delight, I think it's a fair assumption that it represented Turkey. It wasn't Barnsley.

I like trying to modify cooking and baking recipes.

Me following to the letter only happens at the very first times or if I want to commit to memory by repetition, until I can switch things up in my mind without switching things wrong because I did it the wrong order or something.

I always tailor recipes to suit my way of doing things. I don't think I could stand following somebody else's recipe exactly. They make things much too hard. I make things easy.
