I found out that Ted (Hughes) not only burned Sylvia's final journal-- however, there is still speculation that it may be hidden somewhere-- but that he also likely destroyed her unfinished novel, that was partly autobiographical, labeling him as the adulterer and abuser that he was... and I was so so angry... so angry... I am just so angry that Ted somehow was the one that was chosen to decide what we see of Sylvia, how much of her world may we touch... He should not be able to decide this... All that she left on her desk should have been preserved and published rather than left in the hands of her cheating and overpowering ex husband...

I read an article about Sylvia's lost novels today that was published this month and it was a beautiful article, but I felt pain for Sylvia and I am so so angry at Ted...

Finding out that a close friend/co-worker of mine who I've secretly harbored feelings for is being forced by her jerkass boyfriend to either move away with him to Vermont (a "f**k no" situation to her as she has neglectful/antagonistic family up there) or to Florida or that he's going to break up with her, even though neither of them have anything saved up for something like that. Not to mention the fact that he's threatening to leave her after he's already gotten her pregnant. She's too good for him and deserves far better than that.
