I rescued a gopher that was trapped in a basement stairwell. Last time I saw it, it was digging a hole next to the mulberry bush outside.

Went to doc yesterday and they grabbed me for my annual diabetes check up. Blood sugars better than last year and lost 5Kg!! I woke up thinking about that. I have not made any extra effort to lost weight, other than what I usually do. (Long sad struggle with weight). So 5kg down is huge for me. Very happy.

A cute four-year-old girl. I gave her a couple of stickers and a few minutes later, she very solemnly gave me one of hers, attaching it to my blouse.
