What's the last weirdest dream you had?
It...actually kinda was!
I love house-shopping in real life, that is about as fun as car-shopping to me.
I may have to house-hunt sometime soon for a new place to live. As a new land owner is coming in and they are planning to raise the rent on my house.

I dreamt I was leaving some kind of institution, which had all manila-off-white walls and floor, high ceilings. there had been some kinda party there a little while before, and I got there late after everybody left, all I found was some leftover food and articles of clothing. I found one other straggler over on the far side of the room nibbling on some leftover buttered French bread loaves and we both commiserated on how wasteful people were to leave behind perfectly good food. then I gathered as much of the leftovers as I could, packed it in a suitcase, and was about to take off when some people entered including one guy who reminded me a bit of the actor Steve Carrell but he had gone totally to seed, bald/obese/full-bearded like he was emulating ZZ-Top or something. he was wearing all charcoal-colored sweats and white athletic shoes, horn-rimmed glasses. we exchanged pleasantries as though I had known him before in the army, as an officer. then I awoke.

Warning: Violent Content! Reader Discretion Is Strongly Advised!
I am going to keep this brief because this dream I had was violent, brutal, and just disturbing.
I was dreaming my sister's friend was visiting and was trying to make conversation with my sister. My sister rolled her eyes whenever her friend said anything my sister had little to no interest in.
Then, my sister looked at me {in the dream, I was texting with my girlfriend in my room} and she said "Little brother, get me the gun." I stepped out of my room and asked her "Why do you need it?"
"Just get me the gun."
Despite increasing fear, I obliged and gave her a small gun. My sister looked at her friend and pointed the gun at her.
Her friend said, "What are you doing?"
"Why do we talk about random stuff I don't care about?"
"Because we're friends."
"Oh, shut up!"
My sister shot her friend twice in the chest, killing her instantly.
All shaken up, I thought of calling the police, but decided against it.
The dream ended there and it was entirely in black-and-white.
Reality:
My family does not own any firearms because of the dangers firearms bring.
My sister's friend did visit back on Christmas Day and stayed for about one hour before leaving to celebrate Christmas with her own family.
My sister and her friend met in their freshman year of high school and have been friends since. However, I don't know why they are still friends because anytime my sister's friend calls, my sister becomes more cynical. Also, I believe my sister has always hated her friend, so if there is a time where my sister can break all ties to her friend, that time should have already happened or will be coming at some point.
Again, I am sorry if this post has offended anyone. I don't know why I still have violent dreams, so the next time I see my therapist, I will ask. My next appointment with my therapist is this Friday.

I dreamt I was at work, only my bedroom was there, abutting the [hospital] L & D workroom where I washed instruments. I was sitting in my bathrobe and PJs, at a table watching tv, and my brother showed up and bothered me. I then went to the bathroom only the toilets were gone so I went to the nearest 10 gallon sharps bucket out in the hallway, and wizzed in there abundantly, filling it up to the top. I felt tremendous relief, then all of a sudden I was floating above a tugboat sailing along in the ocean, as though I was a cameraman in a helicopter - watching a guy who looked like a young [tennis champ] John McEnroe sitting at a piano in the middle of the tugboat, he was dressed in a blue jean suit with white dress shirt, no tie, his curly auburn hair relatively close-cropped yet waving a little in the sea breeze, and he was singing and playing something on the piano but I didn't hear it because of the noise of the boat in the ocean and aircraft. then I awoke.
Gosh, how very odd! What I find interesting is that the people in your dreams are very vividly described. In my dreams it’s usually generic female #2 or something.

but you DO have the advantage of having regular lucid dreams
Tell me please: do you know which ocean?

Thank you, but I haven’t had a lucidly-lucid dream in a couple of day. Mebbe tonight I will get lucky.

Tell me please: do you know which ocean?
Atlantic ocean. at least it had that "feel" about it.

Ah. Because I was looking at your dreaming and thinking, 'what does that image of McEnroe mean?' and this word popped into my mind: "Pacific".
Anyway, you've got 2 sources of pollution - urine and noise.
Also you've got 3 men - you, your bro., & McEnroe. In Jungian parlance all 3 men are aspects of you.
Every aspect of McEnroe is fascinating - he's a crabby guy but he's so peaceful.
And the tugboat - what is it doing so far out? Is it going to tug something out of trouble? If so, what?
I think the image of a helpful tug with a peaceful McEnroe on board with a piano - optimistic, y/n?

actually I misspoke, it seemed at times Atlantic, say in new York harbor or 2 miles of it, and at other times it felt like between Catalina island and the west coast of SoCal. does that make sense? I guess my dreaming mind wanders all over.
My mate and I are on a small life float, several hundred yards off of a sand beach, sunny, on a very calm sea. Out to seaward you can see an impossibly large wave approaching. The float goes up the face of this towering ~500' wave, which crests and breaks. I survive and end up on the beach; I never see my mate again.
