Woke up refreshed with a clear head. The extra hour of sleep did me a lot of good. I went to bed late (for me, 10 p.m. is late. My normal time is 9 p.m.)

I've seen occasional frost in southern places like LaBelle.

We can get frosts. The second year we were here was one of the worst freezes in decades. We had about 10 days of below 30 at night, down even to 23, and then it didn't warm up much during the day. Manatees died. It was horrible. I lost a lot of plants, even covering and heating what I could. Since then, we have not had much, just a night or two nearing 30 per year. Global warming. :D :D :D just joking. please no climate change discussion.

With a freeze, bananas will die back to the ground, but then will come back up.
