Listening to music while sipping tea and seeing the sun rise always gives me a sort of peace deep in my soul.

I am so happy for you and your bro, Raleigh.

I voted this morning. Back when schools taught citizenship and about voting, I understood that is was something important to our democracy, and for me, almost religious. No question we have problems, especially right now. Still I feel like it is some kind of communion with the entire country to vote on election day.

Over most of the world, the ability to vote, and the ability to have your vote properly counted, is something which must be fought for.

We in the United States take our ability to vote, and for our vote to be counted, for granted

Got invited to a New Year's Eve party. I know the folk who will be there (my neighbours) so I don't mind. Also, the same neighbour who invited me gave me a new vacuum cleaner to replace my broken one.

I brought my harp to the voting place. At the end of line I played waiting to vote long line blues. When I got to the front I played Ode to Joy

Hearing Little Richard.

I just came from a music jam.
That song would have been perfect.
