Hearing Little Richard.

I just came from a music jam.
That song would have been perfect.

It was perfect for me today, too!
He was so funny: "Google Little Richard! There's a song called Tutti Frutti .... T - U - T - T - I .... " (spells it) 8)

Magic was made in that dance.

There’s a video of a very heavy man dancing to Tuttu Fruiti with an average-sized woman. They had just won a dance contest.

I wish you could have seen me and N. dancing. It was such a beautiful moment!

Little Richard turns 86 on December 5.

I love dancing to 1950s Rock and Roll! That sounds like a lot of fun, Isabella!

The man who introduced Little Richard (the Emcee) was Alan Freed.

That's pretty darn nifty, April.

A woman whom I worked with, named Carmen, recommended that I apply for this particular job advertised in the NY Times. Had she not recommended it, I wouldn't have gone for it.

The advertised job is the job I have now, 38 years later.

Thank you! We both applied for affiliated companies for different positions. She has experience i don't however, and also speaks 3 Language so she's naturally a step ahead. Also my father was the Director of that company in the past so we also have a reference. Well they apparently talked neutrally to her so we don't know for now.
I'm glad it worked out well for you too, it's important to network with people.

I learned to use my timing feature on my cellphone at Toastmasters today in my role as timer for the speeches, Table Topics and evaluations. One more new skill learned. I am focusing on learning practical skills, rather than cramming more facts into my head, even though I still like to read and learn things.

One of the speakers in Toastmasters today did a semi-humorous speech about life in Russia. I thought it was kind of funny because I have an interest in a Russian tennis player.
