The last remaining bank in our town has closed down. When I first came here a dozen years ago, there were five (including a couple of building societies), and even 18 months ago there were still three. Yorkshire Bank shut up shop in the late summer of 2017, Barclays around six months ago, now RBS is gone.
Same here, my branch with the same bank has closed and been moved 6 times in 5 years and I now have to go 9 miles for face-2-face banking.

The wind and rain today made me unhappy.

I don't know if I should go to a lecture Wednesday night. That was going to be my relaxing day.

People who want advice but really don't want advice, and people who make fake WP accounts.

An idiot had the nerve to call me a "fa***t ass b***h"

A different one said "ha?" Instead of "excuse me"

Yesterday was my birthday and , with the exception of strangers from the internet, nobody acknowledged

But that could be good because I don't have to say "thank you"

But whatever, what do you expect, an apology ceremony? A parade?

"Thank you" is not required....but it's something nice to say.

Happy Birthday, My Friend.

I know I'm just an internet random but happy birthday for yesterday.

People who seem to think (even aspies who seem to think which confuses the hell out of me) it's easy to befriend people or even get into relationships.

1 I spent the last 5 years or so at home. When I say at home I mean in my house, afraid to go out because of social anxiety, only ever talking to family or doctors
2 I can't work because of mental health conditions
3 I find it hard to be out of the home for a long time
4 People think I'm weird
5 People do not know how old I am and when they find out their reaction is 'that's weird' not 'oh TUF is hot now'.
6 People who think 'TUF is hot' in my experience are waiting around for someone weak to prey on
7 I genuinely am physically and emotionally young for my age

People say it all so flippantly but it's basically impossible for me in real life. Best I have is friendly acquaintances.

^ It's easy to say but try not to give a stuff what people think of you. You are you and can be however you want to be.

I took my father for a blood test today and the nurse was exceptionally rude and narky.

Someone was in the bathroom at the library. Someone was in line for the toilet.

The family bathroom, the key got stuck in the door. This has happened over and over again. The librarians won't fix it. :skull:

Saying "happy birthday" does not make happy

And happiness is not superior to sadness

So whatever

It was just the thought that even on my birthday, nobody to hang out with

Reminds me of some articles, say nobody came to a child's birthday party and the parents called firefighters and they came with a party

A close friend of mine from work tearfully told me that she'd miscarried. I gave her a hug out of support, but even then I felt too inadequate to help her out in any larger way.

Happy Belated Bday - so it doesn’t make u happy ok-

but if it helps alleviate the feeling of isolation a slight bit,

which is possible , I think it is worth saying

I’m sure I annoy v much by seeming fake or enthusiastic about a stranger
but u really do remind me of my favourite brother who thinks in the same logical, looking at possibilities n weighing things the same way,
annoyed at the same type of ppl and some humour

so I will continue to respond to your posts just becauseof that
and would it feel more substantial to Skype (re: belated bday) I would do that too!

When u mention the bad things that occur in your life, I do care though from afar, as, like I said, I somehow care and you really have a way of thinking,
and Have aspects, like my brother. And anyone who is like him, I instantly care for. So yeAh

Dealing with rude and ignorant government officials. My employer keeps saying dont fight with them they're probably aggressive because of poverty but i dont think that as an excuse sorry.

Yeah it's just my reaction to people saying 'why are you seeking all your social experiences online'...

I'm not socialising solely online but it's like there's meant to be stigma attached to doing it at all unless you have a lot of friends in the real world.

I find online interaction easiest because I can reach out and talk to almost anyone in the world and find a connection instead of being limited to who's in my neighbourhood. And because if we use pseudonyms it's relatively safe.

I'm not finding love online by the way. I think that way would lead to catfish. I just honestly am not in a position where a relationship could be healthy for both parties.

Sorry about the rude nurse :(

Being unemployed with little likelihood of finding something worthwhile or that is above the IQ level 82
