Dear Kevinjh, The only cat at all responsible for thermonuclear unpleasantness was a space cat in an anime' film I saw years ago.
Since, therefore only anime' cats behave like that, I think you are mean to categorize thermonuclear occurrences on cats in general.

It is the porcupines who are responsible for most of it.

That is the best that Portal can do to cast a Necromantic Spell?
Portal really needs to learn Latin, and a nice star on the floor and flickering candles would help.
Actually, what would help enormously would be reading 'Unexpected Magic' by the late, lamented Diana Wynn Jones.
That, and all her books are highly recommend by me.
