I was standing on a sloped roof, when two large birds approached from the distance. One was a vulture and the other was a bald eagle. The vulture flew right on past me, but the bald eagle turned and flew, very slowly, straight towards me.
Its wings brushed against my head, and I could tell that something was wrong with it. It seemed to be sick or injured. It slowly, silently crashed into a small turret, fell down into a deep, enclosed patio area.
I spent the rest of the dream trying to find my way through the inside of the building, to get to that patio and retrieve the bird.
The people I encountered were not helpful at all. They either didn't respond to my attempts to communicate, or they gave me misinformation, or pointed me down hallways that didn't lead anywhere at all.
At one point I realized that I had lost my backpack, which contained something very important. I saw Capt. Jack Harkness, from "Torchwood", sitting on a bench . He was my friend, so I took his hand and led him down a long hallway so we could go find my backpack. But he disappeared, as people do in dreams.
There was more to the dream; it had lots of strange details. But that's probably enough to write here.

i was in some kind of mental hospital or other cloistered place, with an old ex-navy hippy and some weird psychotic hippy, and the ex-navy hippy told me to step carefully around the psychotic hippy, saying "he's not right upstairs." so one day [in my dream] i was reclining on my bed in the room i shared with the hippies when the psychotic hippy vomits on me, so i look at him and i see what at first looks like vomit on his own back but on closer inspection it is catfood. i look down at the floor and see dried vomit and dry catfood that this man has sprinkled all over the floor besides my bed. the psychotic hippy glares at me in a deranged manner, with an evil grin. he just mumbles, saying not one lucid word. the next thing i know, the psychotic hippy has covered himself with his bedspread and is crawling aside my bed upon the floor, and he hear him mumbling, when all of a sudden he jumps up on my bed and starts strangling me, and his hands are pressed hard on my throat and all i can get out is a wheezy "AL...AL... [as in "HHHHALP" but i couldn't get the "HHH" or the "P" out due to lack of air]. his face had the expression of somebody who was intent on smashing a bug. not a trace of comprehension that i was another human being. just cold sociopathy. then i awoke, sweating and short of breath. a nasty dream if i may say so. whew

i had another of those full-bladder dreams, this one was in yet another public restroom but this one had a grand piano over the toilet i was peeing in. i tried but failed to direct my stream into the toilet bowl so i ended up accidently "tinkling on the ivories" in a most unmusical way
then i awoke and made a clumsy beeline to the loo.

then i awoke and made a clumsy beeline to the loo.
Too funny.

This morning, I dreamed I had a guitar amplifier, and I was operating it with my mind and no guitar, and it made a wonderful My Bloody Valentine-esque droning noise, and I was having fun modulating the sound, and it made the whole house rattle and shake.
Recently, I keep dreaming I'm in situations where I'm talking to attractive women who then reject my advances. The last dream I had of this nature, she dumped me out of her car on a country road in the middle of the night.

gosh, this sounds like a fear-of-abandonment type of dream. i feel for you. the advantage of having nobody is that nobody can dump you. just a thought.
I started running on some dirt roads, and began to pick up speed to the point where I was outrunning the slower cars. I somehow acquired a large piece of cardboard, and began running with it above my head. When I'd run over a hill, I would float back to the ground. Eventually I kept picking up speed until I was able to fly. By doing a special motion with the cardboard wing, I could maintain, or even increase, my altitude. I enjoyed flying around for a while, watching the dirt roads connect to more main ones.
Eventually I came back down in a valley, where the roads were now paved highways. However, Things still appeared to be very small. I had become a giant! I could put my fingertip down on a road and block four lanes of traffic. I bet the minuscule people in the tiny cars were pissed! At one point, I flicked a few cars across the landscape on a whim. I walked along the roads for a while, enjoying my new vantage point on everything. Eventually I returned to normal size, on an old railway track outside of some massive power plant's step-up substation. I remember seeing dense clouds of coal smoke billowing into the air while I was fascinated by the crackly aura of the megawatt transmission lines that passed right over my head.
After that, who knows what happened.

A more complicated dream than first appearances would indicate. I give you this FREE

Running
To dream that you are running alone, refers to your determination and motivation in the pursuit of your goals. You will find success and rise above those around you.
Road
To see a road in your dream, refers to your sense of direction and how you are pursuing your goals. the different roads you saw represented different pathways through life. the dirt roads represent the collective "back pages" of life, the less-evolved past ways of living, both yours and of humanity in general. You just want to forget about the mistakes you have made, and see humanity making the same mistakes over and over- you just want to slap some sense in people in general, to start doing right by each other and stop the cheating and lying and double-dealing, which applies to yourself as well.
To see an unknown road in your dream, represents a path that has not been ventured. You are setting a new precedence for something. To see or travel on side streets in your dream, refer to a need to explore an alternative way of life.
To dream that you are in traffic, signifies the frustrations that you are experiencing in your life. Things are not going as smoothly as you would like it to. You feel stuck at where you are in life. To see traffic in your dream, indicates the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Sometimes you feel like you are just going with the flow. Things have become too routine. So you decided to just leave everybody else [the "slower cars"] in your dust!
Hill
To dream that you are climbing a hill, signifies your struggles in achieving a goal. You need to focus your energies on the prize. To dream that you are standing on top of a hill, suggests that you have succeeded in your endeavors. You have the necessary resources to complete the task at hand.
Flying
To dream that you are flying, signifies a sense of freedom where you had initially felt restricted and limited when you were a mere pedestrian. To dream that you are flying with cardboard wings, signifies some insecurity [risk of unknown dangers] in the ultimate security of your goals or endeavors. Your "special motion" with the cardboard wings means you have found stopgaps and clever nuances which improve your own life situation. You revel in the feeling that you are the captain of your own soul, in this wonderful dreamland, and you are aiming to expand your domain to real life.
Flying Machine
To see a flying machine in your dream, foretells of steady and satisfactory progress in your future endeavors.
Wings
To dream that you have wings, suggest new found freedom. You are on the right track and are soaring to success without limitations. Alternatively, the dream means that you are trying to escape from a difficult situation, expressing your desire for a freer way of life.
Your speed and altitude represents gained wisdom and perspective on the meaning of life in general. You see all the different pathways [the "roads"] life has to offer, and are in an elevated position to judge these different pathways.
Valley
To dream that you are in a valley, symbolizes fertility, abundance, or your need to be sheltered and protected. The dream represents life's struggles and hardships before you can achieve some spiritual enlightenment or epiphany.
Pavement
To see or walk on pavement in your dream, suggests that you have a clear understanding and grasp of a situation. You are standing on solid ground. The dream may also indicate that you have paved and laid out a firm path toward your life goals. The pavement represents learning, wisdom and evolved spiritual status.
Giant
To see a giant in your dream, indicates a great struggle between you and your opponents. You are trying to overcome an overwhelming obstacle. Alternatively, a giant symbolizes an issue, a person or a feeling that is dominating you. You are having an inferiority complex. To dream that you turn into a giant, indicates feelings of inferiority.
To see your fingers in you dream, symbolize physical and mental dexterity. They indicate manipulation, action and non-verbal communication. To dream of your index finger or forefinger, symbolizes the number one. It also signifies authority, direction, and judgment. Your dream may be trying to make a point- You are showing them ALL! YOU'RE the boss all the way! When you wake up you wonder why you don't just tip over the world's applecart, just to set the tone. To see the tiny cars represents feelings of insignificance, helplessness and unworthiness. Alternatively, you may be literally trying to "knock" these other cars' drivers down to size. Perhaps it suggests that you or someone [or lots of other people] in your life have inflated egos and need to be taught a lesson.
Anger
To dream that you [or other people which are extensions of yourself] are holding or expressing anger, symbolizes frustrations and disappointments in your Self, especially in reference to your dealings with other people. You tend to repress your negative emotions or project your anger onto others. You need to look within yourself.
Experiencing anger in your dream may have been carried over from your waking life. Dreams function as a safe outlet where you can express your strong and/or negative emotions. You are suppressing your anger and aggression, instead of consciously acknowledging them.
Cars
The cars you see represent both your own wishes regarding your own life as well as the lives and lifestyles of other people. they are your competition and you flicked them out of the way of your life, they no longer can compete with you over limited resources. it is literally your way AND the highway.
Landscape
To dream of various landscapes in your dream, represent where you are in your life or in your relationships. A barren or dry landscape depicts dissatisfaction in your love life. According to Freud, the dream landscape symbolizes the human body. A landscape with gentle contours symbolize the female body, while a rocky landscape represents the male body. Also consider the feelings that the landscape invokes. The fact that you "flicked a few cars over the landscape on a whim" means you just kicked all your sexual competitors to the curb, so you can have all the babes for yourself. no more competition for this scarce resource!
Walking
To dream that you are walking with ease, signifies a slow, but steady progress toward your goals. You are moving through life in a confident manner. Consider your destination. You are moving towards your goal of total self-determination, and incidentally to get a proper mate as well.
Railroad Tracks
To see a railroad in your dream, indicates that you have laid out a set track toward achieving your goals. Your progress will be slow but steady. You are well disciplined and secure in your life. Alternatively, the dream indicates that you may be too linear and rigid in your thinking. Sometimes you need to go off track and explore other possibilities.
Power Plant
To see a Power Plant in your dream, symbolizes the wellspring of life, as well as your motivation, drive and will to pursue your goals. Alternatively, the dream may be a metaphor that you are generating something new or different, or that you are hoping life offers you something more amenable to your desires.
Head
To see your head in your dream, signifies wisdom, intellect, understanding and rationality. It may also represent your accomplishments, self-image, and perception of the world. The dream may also be metaphor to indicate that you are "ahead" in some situation or that you need to get ahead, or to get out from under those damned crackling power lines!
Power Lines
To see power lines, represents your struggle for power and empowerment. You are experiencing an obstacle toward your career goal or in your relationship.
Electricity
To dream of electricity, symbolizes vigor and life energy. You need to be revitalized. Alternatively, the dream suggests that you need to conserve your energy.
Smoke
To see smoke in your dream, indicates some sort of trouble that is entering your life. You are suffering from confusion and anxiety. In particular, if the smoke is black, then it means that you are not seeing some situation or problem clearly.
To see dark or stormy clouds in your dream, symbolize depression or anger. It indicates an impending eruption of emotions. Alternatively, it represents a lack of wisdom or confusion in some situation. Thus, the dream may be a metaphor for "clouded" ways of thinking.

I've been having lots of dreams related to my obsessions recently, and they have been lots of fun.
Last night's weird one
I was visiting a man who was illegally selling orangutans as "pets", so I was going to take them from him and take them to a primate sanctuary somewhere, didn't know which one so I took them in my house until I found the right place and did all the paperwork and what-have-you. So I was in this man's house where inside there were 3 orangutans, 1 adult male with the big cheek pads, an adult female and a baby female. So I paid him to give them to me for the time being. Next minute they were in my house and were smaller than what they are in real life, but this is dream logic so they could be the size of mice and it would still feel normal. Well, the adults weren't doing much, just wandering around the house looking bored. I was playing with the baby and sitting her on my knee and stuff, but my mum told me to give the adults someting to do and keept thier brains occupied but I couldn't think of anything. So they ended up just doing nothing. Then we were to attend a fancydress competition at the bottom of the bank I live on, so we went with my mum who was walking loads of dogs (in real life she is dog-sitting for her friend, as well as looking after our dogs), and her friend was with us with even more dogs. And the male orangutan was walking down the street with us, I thought this was a funny sight because there's an ape walking down the street and no one makes a big deal of it. So, there were loads of people dressed in weird costumes and a man was reading out the winner's name, some woman with a stupid outfit on.
Next minute we were in the street with all the orangutans and this man snatched the baby off me and ran away into his car. He said they were taking him to a sancuary or new home or something, I said "NO WAIT! you have the sign the papers first before you do anything, it's a law!" Then the car stopped and the man walked out laughing saying he was only kidding, and gave me back the baby orangutan whom I held tightly. The man turned out to be my uncle (but looks nothing like he does in real life). We went back home and the baby orang had fallen asleep, so I sat on the sofa with her in my arms still fast asleep, then she kept being woken up by people and dogs, so I moved away somewhere quieter. And everyone dsicussed which sanctuary to take them to, and someone mentioned "monkey world" in Dorset (a real place.)
THE END

What film do atheists watch on Christmas?
Coincidence on 34th street.
that is a complicated dream.i am not qualified to comment but i think you have a strong maternal quality.
last night i dreamed that i bought a 727 jetliner and i realized after i took off (i was the only one in the plane) that i forgot some trinket, so i jumped out of the back of the jet with a parachute in order to go back and get the trivial thing i forgot (the trivial thing is a mystery).
then it occurred to me that my new plane was doomed and i would be in extreme trouble when it crashed.
