Saw some newly sprouted daffodils. Buds on tress getting ready to blossom. It's warmer and the air has that "Spring feel".

Signs of spring, lessee ... a foot and a half of snow on the ground, five-foot piles at every street corner, 23F with a stiff north wind at sunset. Spring is here!

Kids using plastic saucers to go sledding down an embankment in the rear of the subdivision. While it looked like fun, it just depressed me even more than I am right now, since I'm too old for that kind of activity, and I'm the subdivision's grump.
