Bad, and I'm constipated with a very dry mouth as well.

Couldn't help but be reminded of a story I read about the American country singer George Jones. To stop him from getting to the liquor store, his wife confiscated his car keys and hid them. So George got onto his motorized lawn mower and drove to the store with that.

I think he was probably sober and just desperate for a drink. His wife had probably removed all alcoholic drinks from the house as well.

I went to Hyde in Greater Manchester today, and was impressed by the beer section of their Asda supermarket, which is a lot better than the one in my local Asda. Among the products on sale were Titanic Plum Porter, St Austell Mena Dhu Cornish Stout and Batemans Mocha Coffee Chocolate Beer, and quite a few other interesting items.

I love that. It's one of my favourite sayings.

I'm drinking a bottle of 'Titanic Plum Porter' that I bought from Asda earlier today. I can definitely recommend this stuff - it's a fair bit better than the own brand version that Aldi sells. Titanic is a small Staffordshire brewery whose products seem to have been finding their way into the supermarkets of late.

I got into the coconut rum tonight. I made a mint and lime drink earlier today and used some of that with the run and some soda water. It's good. I'll likely have more than one. Honestly, it's been a crappy day and I could use to get out of my head a bit here. So yeah, getting my drink on tonight. Unapologetic.
