i very much am affected by this song. it is a song that applies to all animals who are orphans (both my parents are dead) and i see it as a very profound narrative as to how one lives life after the era of protective parents.

he was a very good man and it is a pity he was killed in a plane crash.

Another Excellent choice. Have you listened to "A Wintertale" yet? Definitely harkens back to the days of my ancestors (at least the Germanic/Nordic half) and makes for good music to listen to next to the fire on a winter night. I bought the album "Legends from Now and Nevermore" because it was on clearance for around $6.00, thinking I may or may not like it. I must admit, it did take a few listens to warm up to (I am more accustomed to deep growls).

I didn't take it in a bad way at all. I was just laughing at myself and poor memory, because you posted it like just a week ago. :lol:

It made me take a quick look at what I have posted myself already, which was good cause I was getting ready to double post something else. As far as tastes go, yes they definately cross in places.
