Not unhappy, but a little panicked-I was looking for the location for my Toastmasters meeting and there was a road closure. I had to make a detour and feared I would get lost. It took me a little bit longer than I wanted to get to my tennis lesson today, but I made it on time and did well.

Today being 17 years since the passing of my dad, who passed on June 2nd, 2002.

Had he managed to get through his treatments without any problems, he would have turned 60 back on May 6th.

Aww. I would say you can borrow mine but he passed away over a decade ago. I have a heavenly Dad. You can share Him if you want to. :)

Huge whine, with apologies. Having an upside-down time. Blood pressure way high in the morning but somewhat reduced as the day went on. (Hint to self: taking your BP every 2 hours is not a good way to calm down.)

Berating self for sleeping and eating only. Must walk - but clothes? I have some, somewhere. But do a laundry? Ack! And then - pick clothes, what's the weather? Heavy rain, the radio said. I don't have enough windows to see the weather or people with or without umbrellas. And then I must dither about using a walker and an umbrella, which doesn't work. Then I hear a rabid fitness freak on the radio, demanding that I take 10,000 steps. How about 15 steps from bed to bath?

There was an illegal doggie (No Dogs Allowed) down the hall, yipping his little head off, and I heard the Concierge banging on the door and getting no answer except greatly exaggerated yips. I e-mailed to ask if I could give the little yipper a small walk but no luck.

Am really sick, somehow, but don't know what to do.
