You're right. I hated camp. It was the first time I realized I didn't fit the prototype.

I'm not even sure if there were horses there. Possibly, but I was already riding by that age, anyway.

Your brother is still bitter? omg :(

Songs that have a special link to my childhood:

1. New Kid in Town (The Eagles)

2. Layla (Eric Clapton)

3. Silly Love Songs (McCartney and Wings)

#2 is probably your Lie. I didn’t understand the lyrics when I was a kid. It’s an adult-type song.

My brother thinks I broke up our father and mother lol

In 1974, at age 13:

1. A 16-year-old boy wanted to perform an “experiment” on me. He wanted to play with my you-know-what.

2. My graffiti tag was “Viva Anthropologist.”

3. I actuality wrote it on a wall without permission.

I've never really liked Eric Clapton, and 2 is my lie. *True... I forgot it was Derek and the Dominoes*

Your brother is wrong.

1. I used to take my shirt off and "swim" across the tile floor in our cellar with my brother and his friends. *In the dark, with strobe lights and funky music* (Age 5)

2. I used to hold the support beam in our cellar and spin around in circles. It was my way of pretending to dance with someone (Ideally, Elton John) (Age 7 - 10)

3. My brother and I used to paint each other's face like the characters from KISS. I was always Peter Criss, the cat character. He was any of the other three. (Age 7 - 9)

1 is true. We had swimming races by sliding along the floor. Typical music included Bungle in the Jungle and Ballroom Blitz.

2. is true but you're right; I didn't like anyone to know. I only did this when I was alone. Typical music: Crocodile Rock or Please Mr. Postman.

3. is a lie. We liked KISS and I liked the cat, but we didn't have face paint and neither of us would have been able to draw those faces.

Did you see Bob McAllister?

He was the host of Wonderama.

Yes, Kortie. Thanks!

1. I'm afraid of automatic carwashes because I could never get my car on the track properly, and the attendants laughed at me.

2. I'm afraid of returning items in stores because I don't like making small talk with the cashiers. I'm always afraid they'll challenge my request or think I'm cheap.

3. I'm afraid of asking for assistance if I'm lost or need directions. I don't like anyone to see that I'm less than competent while in public.

#1. The car wash workers usually put the car on the track (at least in NYC).

In 1971, at age 10:

1. I almost hit a kid with a croquet mallet at camp.

2. The counselor made me hold a big rock with my arms extended as punishment for making my bed sloppily or something.

3. I was chosen as “Camp Director For a Day.”

I tried it in California a few times when I first started driving, but they didn't put it on the track for me. I held up the line of cars each time, and annoyed people.

1 is true.
2 is false -- give me my money :)
3 is true
