I learned that my curiosity is stronger than my manners. I watched a woman almost not fit through a doorway, even sideways. She was wearing light blue pants. I learned that they make pants for women that size. They didn't cover her behind all the way to her waist, so I also learned they make panties for women that size.

They put an air mattress on a chaise lounge and she sat on it. The air mattress was much bigger than the chair. She was so much wider than the chair, and it bent so much, that it was only the air mattress that kept her hips off the ground. And it was the firmness of an air mattress with her weight on it that gave her something wide enough to put her calves up on. They otherwise wouldn't both have fit on the lounge. It took two people to help her onto the thing.

She went swimming, wearing her pants. It looked to me like she floated easily without help, but they got her on that air mattress. It was big enough for two people, and she just about submerged it by herself. She sat on it on the chaise lounge again, too. That was a very sturdy air mattress.

And I wasn't polite enough to not watch the whole thing. I hope I was reasonably discreet.

In the Disney movie "The Sword In The Stone", there is a part where the wicked witch Madam Mim says, "Sounds like someone is sick. How lovely! I do hope it's something serious. Something dreadful!" But in the UK version they edited out the part about her about hoping someone is sick with something serious and dreadful. I guess they thought saying something like that is too evil, especially in medieval Europe with the plague and all, but saying it's lovely that someone is sick at all is acceptable. :?

that washed-and-ready-to-use bags of vegetables are actually not properly washed and you could get sick from eating them.

Just when I think humans can't get any more stupid, the FDA had to warn TikSchlockers not to eat chicken that's marinated in NyQuil.

I'm lucky I don't have bruises on my forehead from facepalming so hard.

Lateen sails are the first triangular sails. Previously sails were square or rectangular and could only move a ship with the wind. Lateen sails permitted ships to move into the wind.

It will take me longer to find a job than anticipated. It's time to bring out the instant coffee, again. I'd rather go on coffee-induced mind-trips to London than sit there and cry.

"Spoopy" is internet slang for something that is supposed to be spooky but is in reality cute or comical, like a puppy dressed in a ghost or skeleton costume. The name originated from a Halloween decoration that misspelled "spooky" as "spoopy".

Actually, the first time I heard anyone use the word "spoopy" was in Animal Crossing: New Horizons when an animal visiting my house used it to describe the Spooky furniture I had in the main room.

that most deli meats are considered as processed meat and should be avoided. They are all toxic.

I ate six small slices of ham and salami with my supper. Should I call the morgue and have them reserve a chamber for me?

That there are certain people in the world I really want killed and have no empathy for, from Vlad the Impaler Putin to That Vegan Teacher.
