My Grandpas doctor appointment at the hospital. he is taking my mom and me out for coffee before hand just so we can relax. So that is a silver lining to being stuck in a hospital for an hour and a half.

I was never fond of Domino's pizzas. They looked like they had a funny bluish color on them. That and they tasted like rubber.

There is a *huge* grandfather mosquito hovering over my screen (light source) next to my coffee.

But! If I have a cat I have no bugs, right? So far so good. Flies disappear. But this cat does not swoop to the rescue. No, not now, she's busy purring in the middle of my bed. So I arrange that the only visible light is the cat's window - clever, yes? Eventually.

She's sitting there now. She's watching the huge mosquito. No warrior, this cat. No leaping six feet straight up in the air to catch a bug, not her. She sits in lion pose, observing. I sip my coffee, hoping there's nothing extra in it.

Claradoon,

My cat, Samantha, used to catch flies and other bugs. It kept the fly population down, but, ick, sometimes she'd barf.

I like Roger Federer, and I'm glad he's in the final, but I wanted Rafael Nadal to win.

It was HOT today! There good & bad news, the good news is that I worked a little bit around my apartment & change my cat litter box liner to a different liners. The bad is that I had some anxiety & when I bend over, my food can come up, I think that was heartburn. Why is it when I want to do something good, it can turn out bad too with pain & if I walk, both side of my feet turn very numb fast. And I can be sweaty inside my apartment, I wish it can be sweat from losing weight.
It’s going to be 71 tonight & VERY HOT this weekend. And I did not get my SSI yet, it’s the middle of July, they owe me money for two months.

I like them both and when I win the big lottery I'm going to spend a year following the great tennis matches around the world, going to them, I mean like sitting in the stands :D and probably wearing great clothes and staying in 5 Star hotels. You're invited.

I'm sorry to hear all that. I wish you had an air conditioner. Mine is *the* prerequisite for surviving summer. Even more important than heat in winter. Can you get a free fan off of Craigslist?

One thing I might suggest would be for your heartburn - I used to suffer awfully with that - then I got a hospital bed and all I gotta do is press Sit and go to sleep. Cured, almost instantly. So maybe if you could prop yourself up and rest? Sounds facile, doesn't it. But it was such a mercy to me. For me, heartburn is highest priority - though I applaud your concern for the cat! Could you change the liner standing up?

I didn't get my Canadian equivalent of SSI for a long, long time and they tell me I will receive it at the end of this month. Sure.

1. Getting a bill from University of Pittsburgh Medical Center—Pinnacle Health Systems Memorial Hospital of York in the amount of $15,500 (approximately) for services rendered exactly 2 years ago. I called my Medicare advantage provider (Geisinger) who checked my account, and said they have already paid that claim in October of 2018, minus the $80.00 deductible (since I was not admitted, and held for observation only). They said they will call UPMC to discuss the issue. Turns out that yes, Geisinger paid the bill, but UPMC screwed everything up, since UPMC had just purchased both Pinnacle Health Systems of Harrisburg and Memorial Hospital of York at that time.

2. I also got in the mail a bill for almost $8000.00 from Alltran Financial, since there is now a judgement against me from LVNV funding, which was a debt they bought from Sears National Bank. One small problem: I closed my Sears Charge account over 20 years ago. I just sent the letter asking for verification of debt. I’ve a feeling that SOB I had as a roommate who ripped me off for more than I care to think about did it again.
