they usually only evacuate the area in the direct 'eye of the storm'.
I'm not in that area, thankfully.
Unless it changes direction and comes down the coast.
If I'm told to evacuate, I will do so.

Anyway, I'll keep you posted.

sooo, berenstain is a much less common spelling of the name compared to berenstein. when people's memory of the authors is fuzzy, of course they're going to default to the common "berenstein" and be surprised when they're wrong, because noone likes to be wrong.

i think....

Froya, I understand everything I think, except the part about the shower cabinet. Who decided to put the problem wallpaper in? Also, does your contract say anything about "as is," or does it spell out the things that either you or they are responsible for?

The wallpaper is suposed to be waterproof if done correctley. It's been approved for use in bathroom. The Firm that was responsible for the renovations suggested it to me.

The buyers contract has nothing to do with this. Although the buyers contract says "sold as it is". I have renovated the bathroom after I bought the apartment. I have paid for a "product"- the bathroom, and it has a flaw.

Right now "Debbie" is the top story in the Norwegian state channel (online news).

How are you doing Raleigh?

Rainy and windy outside.
The rain is coming in gusts.
Not too bad yet.

Raleigh, glad you have supplies and everything, all the best.

Froya, sounds like the problem is with the wallpaper manufacturer and/or installer, and also possibly whoever recommended it. Good luck sorting it all out, I know that's a pain in the neck.

There was an assignment (one I have extended time on) that I was supposed to e-mail my teacher last Monday, but I just noticed today that... guess what?

I didn’t send it! X__X

It says on my computer that I haven’t modified the document since last Monday.
I want to send an e-mail to my teacher today, but...
What do I say to my teacher?? :help:

^I think I would tell the teacher the truth. If there has been some stress in your life that has contributed to you forgetting or not getting it done, I think you could tell her that to :)

I agree with Froya. You could phrase it that you have a problem. "Maybe you could help. I have this assignment from last Monday, I finished on time, but the assignment never actually went out. The original file shows that I finished on time, so how can I show you that?"

The problem is that the moment you send the file to the teacher through email, the teacher will see it as a new file. So the teacher will either have to believe you, not believe you, or come up with a way for you to show them the original file.
