Hurray!

I might get to drive again after Ortho appt on Friday, but it has only been 11 weeks for me, not years.

Otters! And tho I didn't see the babies I heard their squeak!

I love otters!!
Congrats on your own driving, too! :P

Otters have a huge range, so they don't live specifically on our property but they pass through more or less regularly. At most they stay a few days and clear the fish out of our pond and then move on. I love them too.

You otter post a picture some time! 8)

I love watching otters swim. Drive would be fun too.

I've been looking for a new therapist for months and today I scheduled an appointment with someone that looks promising.

Signed up fr online therapy

Studied at the library

Organized a little bit in new planner

Sons looked happy n healthy not sick anymore

XH is still a bit sick
but still took care of them so i cd study which was kind .

Feeling less hurt/in love with XH n seeing him didnt make me miss him today

which is a strange, sad, but healthy fact. (Necessary Progress)

The man who sells snacks at the library said ‘pakistan zindabad’ to me today after finding out i am born there even though he isnt from there.. he did a little supportive gesture (like ppl do with clpsed fist pumping up in the air) with his hand which was nice too

Listened to ‘ethnic’ pakistani/indian radio station which i cd actually understand

n it was fun normally i listen yo Classical or Italian (i like how the language sounds though i cannot understand it)
They did a chat with callers and it was about ‘Forgiveness’
Everyone who called in as well as the hosrs made very good points and not at all mean spirited
The man was more humourous but he made a strong point about letting ppl know they did wrong
N also the futility of ever getting bad ppl to change since they take advantage of ppls good nature

The woman was strong about her point tht we shd dismiss them n move on n their punishment is that they have to live witj themselves

Good relevant radio show n theme n good hosts
N good callers
The one man who calked fr instance made a good point about parenting n being flexible n changing instead of expecting kids to be exactly like our culture imposed on them (trying to please two diff cultures causes a clash in the kids)

Which he then related to forgiveness to, saying in the same way as we parents first need to change ourselves n adapt but retain good values
Forgiveness is also beneficial fr us as parents

Good point!! He also said ‘Allah’ will take care of u if u forgive— but said ‘bhagwan or God’ fr the other languagrs, after a pause when he realized others may not use the same word, to show listeners he wasn’t trying to impose, n it was a polite considerate thing to do too which i liked
That radio station is so nice and kind n still interesting compared to some others tht talk abut celeb gossip n nasty provacative issues

My phone got fixed
