I slept for nearly 13 hours which is an Isabellean Olympic record, and two things which were terrifying me earlier in the week both came to naught.

Yahoo for me.

I overcame my self-consciousness to show some online friends my face, after having seen at least one of them months ago. I was told I didn't look as nerdy as expected. I don't know if that's good or bad, but at least my anxiety seemed unfounded.

I haven't slept 13 straight hours for years.....

Once, when I didn't sleep a whole night, I slept about 11 hours.

13 is respectable, not sure if I've managed more than 10 yet. Someday though.

I usually consider 6 to be a miracle. I was out cold!
Good luck with upping your count, too!

6 used to be a miracle for me as well, but I'm not feeling as anxious these days so my insomnia if you can call it that isn't as bad, although I do still have some bad nights. I think 6 or 7 is about normal now but I don't keep track so it could me more or less. Thanks for the vote of confidence.

You've really made lots of progress, BlazingStar.

I knew you could do it!

I know you're both walking and driving.

And now you can smell the Orange Blossoms.....

Florida hasn't had any real frost (except for northern Florida) this year.

No frost where I live this year. I'm eating fresh tomatoes out of the garden.

The eastern part of the US, especially south of New England and east of the Mississippi, has had a relatively easy winter thus far. New England has had lots of snow this year.
