Hyperlexian the pictures look amazing and I love the expression on the coloured one. Its not a smile but you still look happy. The dress probably had too many comments three weeks ago but I´ll say it again its breath-taking.
Off topic:
Military ankle boots are out of style?. I have seen several of my classmates wearing them at uni because apparently ankle shoes are "in" again and those are the ones that last longer.
As far as Im concerned several of the big trademarks that are aiming towards a younger crowd(from dc shoe co usa to adidas) have released their pairs(note that there are several boots by each trademark) and combat all stars(yes they still make similar pairs)are one of the most demanded styles because of how easily the textile ones get damaged/broken.So if anything they make you look even younger/hipper.

i am sure they are still in style! i was only joking because it was a very popular style back in the olden days as well. what's old is new again, or perhaps it never left.

these leather booties cost me more than i spent on shoes in total for the last 5 years! but they are comfortable and interesting.

Sorry about the rant, I just tend to get a little defensive whenever somebody mentions them being out of style. My sisters seemed to get a kick out of saying it every now and then until I brought up that the fashion market is a very wide place and they tend to focus on trademarks that are unachievable to them right now but I still get a little defensive whenever someone brings up the issue. I understand that you didnt mean it seriously and you were just making a joke.

sokay it wasn't a rant - no apology necessary. i was poking fun at myself and i didn't realise that i was simultaneously accusing other people of being out-of-date.

i usually just wear what i like, but i was strongly discouraged from getting similar boots from someone who thought i needed to go for a more feminine look. and someone at work always hints that i dress with too much of a youthful fashion (but i wear it anyways). so i tend to make jokes when someone notices what i am wearing. insecurity FTW
