They usually just park by the rental office and expect me to walk up. What kind of delivery is that?

It's raining cats and dogs, still, so I just put some meat and cheese on a pita and put it under the broiler. Good enough to appease me for now.

I have some jars of stuff, but I didn't feel like opening one to use such a small amount.

I have seen an epic rain event for the past month, here.

I walked down to the corner store, and saw lots of standing water. The rain is still dripping down a little. Some of the drainage isn't working well around the apartment complex, and it looks like at least one of my neighbors got flooded a little. The ground is completely saturated, and deeply so.

Rain with little tiny hail, smaller than pea size but firmer than what I think of as sleet. What's next, fish? brimstone?

It's sunny and warm. Most of the snow has melted in Portland.

brief respite from the banana express. mostly cloudy, some blue patches but only a few minutes worth of precipitation.

power didn't go out today, fortunately. tree fell on our power lines on sunday, and electricity was gone for the better part of 11 hours that day. shallow root system may be to blame.
