My elbow didn't heal properly. You are correct---again.

It doesn't look all that bad---but it's noticeable.

1. I used to drink Tang because that's what the Astronauts drank.

2. I once put orange drink, instead of milk, into my cereal. It was yucky. I was bored.

3. I really, really liked Fit and Frosty. I thought I could lose weight with it. I was about 12-13 when I tried it.

3 I've never heard of that product, but I think you had already lost weight by age 12 - 13.

#3 is correct.

But I was gaining weight again when I was 12 going on 13. I was about 95 pounds when I started sixth grade. By the middle of 7th grade, I was about 135 pounds. I stood 4 foot 9 when I weighed 135 pounds.

I wish I still had that picture of me with the belly showing through the sweatshirt.

1. I used to eat Ring Dings for lunch when I was in 7th and 8th grade.

2. I paid 5 cents each for stick pretzels then. I would sometimes have them with the Ring Dings.

3. The lunches in my junior high were absolutely delicious.

I'll assume 3 is false, but how would you get sugar treats / Ring Dings for lunch ? Hmmm

I think 3

They used to sell Ring Dings in the lunchroom. They were a quarter, I believe.

Right again, Isabella!

1. I was able to get a 12-cent Egg Cream in 1978.

2. It was 35 cents for a slice of pizza and a LARGE coke in 1973.

3. I was able to get 4 plays for 25 cents at a pinball machine in 1973.

You and your prices! I don't know how you remember!

I will randomly have a go at 1.

I'm REALLY good at remembering prices for things in the 70s (especially). It's one of my Aspie Quirks  I used to find it soothing for my grandfather to tell me the price of things in like the 1920s.

I did get a 12-cent Egg Cream. It wasn't even on sale.

That 25-cent Coke was REALLY big!

The answer: I always got 2 plays for a quarter on the pinball machine. I used to spend entire allowances on that dang machine!

1. Gas was 35 cents a gallon in 1973, but went up to about 50 cents a gallon by 1974.

2. In 1973, a bottle of soda went up from 20 cents to 27 cents (they started charging 2 cents tax!)

3. In 1976, a pack of cigarettes was about $1.00.

1.

Do you remember cigarette machines where you had to pull a lever?

Nope. 1 is true. We had a big OPEC Oil Embargo in 1973.

Cigarettes were actually about 50-55 cents in 1976. #3 is the Lie.

Yep. I remember those cigarette machines. The last one of those I saw was in a bar in the early 80s.

1. The Daily News (a New York newspaper) went up to 8 cents, then back down to 5 cents in 1969.

2. There was an 8-cent section, and a 5-cent section in the candy area of Mike's Candy Store in about 1970.

3. Milk was 45 cents a quart from the milk machine in my apartment building in 1974.

I have no frame of reference, but I'll say 3

Egad! Right again!

It was 35 cents a quart in the milk machine. You can't conceive how much I used to love milk!

1. I used to like Libbyland TV Dinners.

2. I used to like Arthur Treacher's Fish and Chips.

3. I used to like Swanson's TV Dinners.
