My mum actually said the cliché last night to my siblings "everyday is kid's day!" when they asked why there isn't one. I hate that phrase.

Albert Einstein theorized time travel was possible but, never stated how to go about doing it though..

Not only was the technology nearly unfathomable, but Einstein wasn't the only theoretical physicist. How to go about doing it is not 100% certain either, hence why we haven't done so. Many today (including Kaku) have theorized ways of doing it; Einstein was just putting in his own educated opinion of if it was possible or not. Not to mention he died before finishing many of his potentially-important works; if he had lived several years longer, possibly into the 1960s, he may have had the ability to elaborate further upon his statements.

Yes jmnixon, your quite right as, he only made the notion as to the possibility.
Honestly, there are people out there whom feel that time travel would wind up causing all sorts of strange phenomenon to occur i.e paradoxes and so forth that one might wind up with chaos.. I'll will say this though if everyone had time travel access it could best be regarded that many people would probably try to go back in time to not only alter key historical moments but, change his/her own life history as well..
Anyways, I'll stick with the current timeline until I feel it necessary to travel elswere, elsewhen

It's theoretically possible.
Einstein's "river of time" can fork into two rivers; the paradoxes of time travel don't exist because you went from the original timeline to another one, therefore suggesting parallel universes.
