I made it to the beach at minus tide and was able to see an octopus (my favorite animal). The geoducks (pronounced "gooey-ducks") we're out in force. They are like huge clams, native to the Puget Sound where I live.

Won Best Speaker in Toastmasters yesterday (actually, I thought I could improve the speech a lot and I left out some important things I wanted to say. I may do it again in my other club).
French Open still swinging along in a very positive direction with Roger and Rafael

Rafael Nadal beat Roger Federer in straight sets, much more decisive match than I thought it would be! He's in the final! He plays either Djokovic (Serbia) or Dominic Thiem (Austria). It should be a good final. Rafael Nadal beat Djokovic in Rome, so I'm excited about this final.

Bought myself a new phone. Samsung S10 5G. Bought it second hand but the owner got it only 4 days ago and said it had only had about an hour's worth of use. Got it for $200-300 off from what the retail price would probably be. It's only been released by one provider here on plans and I'm with a different carrier (the phone itself is unlocked)

This girl who looked like a girl I had a crush on at sixth form smiled and waved at me.
