It's not often that I hope an issue I'm having is a result of a medication I'm on since changing meds is a real pain, but since the other possibilities for this one include diabetes, kidney problems, etc, I actually do this time. That, or that it's just another random thing my body's decided to do for no apparent reason and will stop on its own before too long.
I would have to ask you if you have experience any major weight gain along with increased thirst & urination, as those are signs of a pathway towards becoming diabetic, though not the only one's though.
I hope you will be okay overall from a sincere standpoint
I have gained a bit of weight recently (a month or two ago, I think it was that I noticed it), although I'd attributed that to a medication I was on but am not anymore. Only about 10 pounds or so, and it probably just put me into the "healthy" weight range for a woman of my height, since I've always been slender verging on underweight, but I'm still not accustomed to it. I've definitely had the increased thirst and urination for the past few weeks. So it could be because of a medication, or because I'm developing diabetes, or the medication could have caused me to gain weight before and I could be getting unrelated kidney problems now. I have a psychiatrist appointment in a little over a week, I'll be mentioning this then to see if it could be a side effect of one of the meds I'm on, and if not, I'll probably be making an appointment with my doctor to investigate other possibilities. Thank you for the well wishes. Whatever it turns out to be, I'm sure I'll be fine, it'll just be a question of how much of a hassle it will be to manage the issue.
