I did actually watch a little of the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City. I don't have much memory of it, though.

I remember a little of the 1968 Winter Olympics with Jean-Claude Killy the skier. I remember, more, the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo, Japan. I got really into the whole thing back then. The bobsledding, skiing, ice skating (a little bit).

I remember Franz Klammer in the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck, Austria. He might have been in the 1972 Olympics, too.

I watched a lot of the 1972 Olympics in Munich. That was when Mark Spitz won all those swimming metals. Dave Wottle wore that funny hat, and won the 800 meters. And that unfortunate Black September occurrence. It was the only Olympics I really watched a lot of

As for me, seeing my feral kitties when I went outside to feed them-always a great start to the day

Ah, yes. The 68 winter Olympics when I was swooning over Jean-Claude. :D

Today, I think, is the summer solstice. In Sweden they have a marvelous Midsomer celebration.

Many mangoes are ripe in my yard. I have eaten three today. Mangoes make me happy.
