Ah, but you have Fire Ants in the South! Long live the Fire Ant! On that note, try feeding Cream of Wheat to ants...once they eat it, it expands--and they explode!

I heard the same thing happens if you feed aspirin to seagulls

(note kids: do not feed aspirin to seagulls :wink: )

I used to be obsessed with ants. I would spend hours out in the yard playing with the ant hills. I always wanted an ant farm, but may parents wouldn't let me have one. I'd never heard that about cream of wheat... hahaha, thanx! I may have to try that someday. :twisted:

It is my dream that all retail stores open on holidays will suffer a catastrophic computer failure that lasts ALL DAY LONG and frees both employees and consumers from the absurd idea that a lawn mower is a necessary purchase, especially since the SAME STORE is open from 6 AM until 10 PM every day of the week.

i use to watch ants and spiders and other bugs just for fun. i would yell at my parents for stepping on my friends. i still watch them but the stpping thing is over

I've been curious to try. I just like to know if things like that are true. The whole thing about ants not being able to drown; yeah, that depends of the type of ant.

ants are very strange... they look very disorganized vat a glanc e but if you stare at them it is completely different
