it is just a matter of habitually replaying the dream just as soon as one is aware of having dreamed, over and over, until you can get to a keyboard and to type it out as best you can. I have "logged" thousands of dreams on various online services [including this thread and another] over the last decade or so. you can do it!

I often thought you should compile them into a book or dream memoir. It might bring in some $$ for you.

you're the second person with that thought, thank you for your confidence in the goodness of my dreams :wtg: that has planted a bug in me head, I SHOULD compile them all and see who [what publisher] bites.

Good! They are outstanding. They would also make a really good TV series, sort of like the Twilight Zone or a show that had a little bit about a person in the waking state and two-thirds of the show in the dream state. It could be cool 8) to have psychoanalysts in training interpret them and discuss in class. Your dreams are so detailed and creative.

i dreamt about how I had to tinkle like crazy, so I started peeing in a corner of my parents' living room, over the trunk of a white Chrysler sedan [car] that was parked in there for some reason, I was trying to aim for an empty shoebox but it splattered all over the place but it sure felt nice :) except when out of the corner of my eye I saw my mom noticing me, then I felt guilty and I cut it off mid-stream and took a towel and tried to wipe away the mess, and i was wiping a mixture of urine and dust and making a bit of a mess.

i had a bit of a melancholy and prophetic dream- I dreamt I was living in a hilltop abode of many floors, all of them with broad picture windows overlooking the valley below which was lush with greenery. I was living there by myself and padding around my somewhat cluttered place [just like real life but with lots more room] and for some reason in the laundry room I had a fancy multifunction computer printer that wasn't hooked up to anything, just stored there for some reason, unused. my modem was malfunctioning and I had called the repair guy. then the lights went out for a bit and it was dark, so I opened up the curtains and let some light in. the repair guy came along with a new modem and commented about the printer being in the laundry room. then I dreamt that a real life GF was driving me in her truck inside some kind of large old building with tall ceilings with beams every 20 feet or so, and the truck was missing its top so I instinctively ducked before reaching each beam. then she dropped me off in a large waiting area that looked like a train depot or small old-timey country airport. I saw some military guy dressed in a 50s army uniform but with 70s-style hair [not butch-short like the 50s but with sideburns], then he disappeared but left his uniform lying on the floor. I looked at it there and noticed it had staff-sergeant stripes and was khaki. I briefly thought about donning it, remembering my time when I got out of the army, then thought about how incongruous it would look with my past-shoulder-length hair all over it. then the next thing I knew my late mother drove me in her Toyota station wagon to some dusty little corner of the same town that big building was in, to a little wind-swept corner with a clothing store, restaurant and a pawnshop, with a 60s or 70s feel about it. she went into the clothing store and I stayed with her a while then wandered into the adjoining pawnshop where there were stereo speakers all over the place playing loud period rock and roll music. in the back of the pawnshop were these sliding doors covering wardrobes containing Japanese kimonos wrapped in plastic. then I went back to the clothing store but my mother was nowhere to be found, and after some searching out in the parking lot for her now-missing car I figured she forgot about me and left, then i went back inside where one of the saleswomen pointed me in the direction of the restaurant where my mom was sitting alone and forlorn in a senescent state. I then somehow found the station wagon and drove her to her room at a nursing home, then I awoke. :(

^ In what way do you think the dream was prophetic?

:(
Your dream is full of nostalgia. Maybe your GF is 'dumping you off' because she doesn't share that part of your world.

I dreamt I was in one of my late parents' old houses, and my mother was still alive and as she was then [1960s] along with my sister as she was then, and I was the only one as a mid-50s adult like in waking life, and my mother was showing off all the hidden features of the house that we walled-over when we moved in, she slid out hidden walls and rooms and a hidden skylight in the ceiling. then I helped her move some heavy table a distance, at which point I awoke. when I fell back asleep I dreamt I was in a newer house my parents used to live in, the last one before they passed away in fact. my dad was as he was just before his passing, in a wheelchair and senescent, and I was headed off to work at the hospital, and I had a snazzy red sports car, a coupe with black leather interior, and floated through the air in spots, zoomed down hill like a fighter plane on a dive, and I eventually arrived at a bucolic campus totally unlike the hospital I worked in back in the day- I walked easily like I was 20 years younger [which I was in the dream] and into a large white room that slowly materialized into a hospital labor and delivery ward, that appeared to be on the ground floor with large picture windows showing off freshly planted grass amidst tall trees and other rough-hewn country buildings made of wood. I walked past groups of nurses and doctors and technicians, and somebody from my childhood appeared and beckoned me to follow him, down a hallway and turning into a new break room that was empty but with large mirrors in which I saw myself, I was young, trim, athletic, sexy and beautiful. I was amazed at the reflection and pondered it a while. this childhood friend told me I looked "SO GOOD!" and told me that he was really impressed with how I had gotten back into shape. then he went to go to the lavatory and I wandered around the new unit and saw how everything was rearranged with totally new people working there. then I awoke. :|

I haven't had a proper dream in ages now, and I feel like I am missing out, the closest I got was I dreamt I was asleep.
