i went to occupy sydney today.someone set up a tent and the cops took that as their cue to attack. they dragged off 2 and one of my comrades managed to de-arrest one of them. i think she was his sister. he is normally an unshakeable person. he jokes a lot and always looks happy or neutral but at that moment he was affraid and worried and you could see it on his face and hear it in his voice. ive never seen him like that and i never want to see him like that again. it scared me. half an hour before i had to go i saw the riot cops pull on their gloves and i dont think it was because they all noticed the cold in unison. they didnt do anything though. i hope the comrades still there are safe.

Our cat pooed on my brother's coat (serves him right for leaving it on the middle of the floor) and he got angry, saying "cats are useless, all they do is s**t everywhere. If we kill it we can get a dog."

He may have meant it is a joke but that was hurtful, cruel and dark, and he has no idea how much I love our cat more than anything.

For a sink. The last inhabitant couldn't have settled for a vanity.

 The pipes are only sticking out about six inches, so we'll just put my dresser in front of it.

That's cool and if you want a sink in there sometime later, the pipes are ready to go. I've had sinks in my bedroom before, there nice. :)
