I really get a kick out of watching people who have just been discomforted by their food trying to regain their composure - kind of sadistic I guess, but it just makes me enjoy my own food better.

^^I know what you mean, I used to love when we got those cocky idiots who ordered chicken balti in my bar and thought that they could handle it (it was free if you ate the whole plate). they cried like little children and screamed for beer after just one bite

I think if I was king I'd hire a royal splutterer, who's job would be simply to cough & wheeze & choke for my amusement while I ate.

actually that would probably get tired very quickly.

you would think english people would be so painfully aware of the stupid-english-person-trying-to-eat-a-too-hot-curry-&-failing-miserably cliche that they would never attempt such a thing, but some people are just chumps I guess.
