I've just listened to a lot of Canadian rock songs from the Late 60s and now I'm in my fantasy Hippie World.

I am happy, truly happy because I am doing what I like to do and that is to cook and clean house. LOL cleaning house may seem boring but I love it.
As you may know I was in a relationship with a psychopath and 'friend' for 30 years. Two months ago I split up with him for the final time.
I have now been living on my own for 2 months. It is really hard for me to let go of friends (being an Aspie) because of my lack of communication skills. I just don't get how (most) people can just sit and talk for hours on end and enjoy it!
So here I am on my own in my unit and loving it.
I have been walking so much lately, the other day I walked into the city centre and saw so much that I would not normally see. So much beauty all around.
I am eating much better and sleeping like a baby. I enjoy my work more each day and love having fun (short) conversations with my customers.
I am grateful to my God for all he has given me.
That is why I am happy today. :D :D :D :D :D :D

(yesterday)
I wasn't going to buy a bike, really. Even though I've wanted a specific frame and parts for a while, it just adds up to a very expensive endeavor to buy all of the parts and put it together. But I ended up getting a really good deal on Craigslist, frame that's loaded with really, really nice parts. Frame is too big for me. Then I ended up getting a really good deal on a frame off the internet.
So I ended up with enough stuff to build a ridiculously nice bike for myself, and enough parts leftover for another pretty nice bike for someone I know who needs one, for less than the cost of the wheels (alone) on the complete bike.
That's made me pretty happy. Kind of giddy waiting for the frame to get here now.
Also got a big muff. Always wanted one, never had one before. Haven't plugged into it yet. Pretty thrilled, though.

It would be very wrong for a guy to say that outside your original context  I couldn't resist making the joke  Anyways I hope you have a lot of fun building & riding your bike. Are you gonna sell the bike your not keeping to the person so you can get your money back :?: but a free bike is kewl either for you or them. I never been into riding bikes much as a kid but it didn't help that there really wasn't a safe place to do it other than our yard.

Just going to give it to him. I know he'll appreciate it. And if it wasn't for the luck of stumbling into the deals on frame/parts/bike, I really wouldn't have been able to buy any of the parts for the amount I've currently got invested.
Looking forward to building and riding it. I started riding bikes when I was three, with no training wheels. I've been working on them for more than ten years now.
Also looking forward to playing with the big muff. I'm sure there's another joke in there somewhere...

Someone liked the picture I did. Specifically liked it. Liked its legs. :)

I always try to give specific feedback as I know that 'this is a nice picture' sounds like the sort of thing an NT would say to be polite. So getting feedback like that is really nice and useful.

Constructive criticism and specific feedback is what I thrive on. That's one reason the downvotes were so hard to deal with, nobody gave advice or what they'd prefer, it was just 'I don't like this and I'm not telling you why'. Personally with art, I don't downvote unless it's specifically a case of cheating/wrong sub, I just move on if I don't like it.

But anyway, someone likes my work :)

I signed up for https://www.livemixtapes.com/
Now I have somewhere to post my mixtape without having to worry about sample clearance. I don't think I'd be able to post it to a streaming service due to copyright issues.
