You were never forgotten nor ever will be despite how much time has passed or will pass regardless

I can't sleep, so I was watching you.
The hardest, most painful part of all this is knowing that I will lose you and I really can't deal, but you know that already.
I really, really cannot thank you enough for loving me in this life.

Cannot shake this sense of regret.

Those nights I laid beside you but didn't touch you.
When we sat together and never spoke.
When I looked at you but never saw you.

I feel there is no way now to absorb enough of you to last an eternity.

You're the only person I trust so much. I know you were in a tough spot too & I want to help make things right, so even when you give up you have me anyway.

Raleigh's words above describe so well how I feel about a loved one (apart from the parts about watching them in their sleep and laying beside them).

So much time wasted preoccupied with nonsense I thought was important, not really seeing you, even bickering. I want those years back, I want to do it all over again but make better and sounder choices this time around.

I know you know, but I'm still feel so desperate for you to know and understand this. You have always been there for me, but I haven't always repaid you. I could some times be brattish in the past. At least I wizened up at last.

Why are / were you people so UNbeLIEVably slimy----and, why is it that no amount of nothin' can / could make you see how slimy you are / were?

I think, though, that the truth of the matter, is that you don't / didn't feel up-to-par with other people, when you compare(d) yourselves with them, so you treat(ed) others like dookey, to make them lesser in your mind, so you can / could feel better about yourself. How's that workin' for yas----do you feel better about yourselves? I don't think you do / did, cuz you keep / kept doing it.

Here's the thing, STUPID, belief in yourself has to come from within----it's not something you can buy at the 5-and-10, or suck out of others (even though, sometimes, this works, it doesn't last long, so you have to keep doing it, because you're looking for other people to provide that for you, and it'll never be enough)! !

Grow up and get over yourself or shut up and go away. I don't care which as long as I don't have to put up with your constant "poor, poor me" attitude where everything bad that happens to you is always someone else's fault.
