I was thinking $1000 would tie me over.
Then my mother turned up the other day and gave me $1000.

It's always the exact thing, the exact figure, I was thinking of.

^ I'm extremely well.
And will continue to be so...

How's the plans going for the move?
If it were me I'd be traveling and living out of my car like the bum I am.
I'll get my lisecse back one day.
Haha, and my spelling ability.

Good to hear :)
Yeah, still doing a lot of research both here and Aus. Still dont have an exact plan yet, its mainly the house issue and all the stuff and trying to fit the housemates leaving the same time i end the lease as thats a fair bit of extra expense out of my pocket to take care of this house solo, financially speaking... Am tempted to sell everything and buy a claim down south here and then maybe Aus to prospect a little. I am only looking at doing it as a low key low impact kind of thing, have too much appreciation for nature to turn everything up with bulldozers... Just one step and one day at a time. Just ALOT to organise in a structure of importance, but shifting alot of my stuff here is first priority, so taking pics to put things up on an auction site.

I could tell you dozens of similar stories.

I used to buy raw honey from a lady I worked with.
I left work, so no honey.
Was thinking how good that honey was and wished I could get more.
Not long after, I walked down a street I normally never walk down, because it's a dead end street.
There was a sign at the end - honey for sale.
I went in and it turned out it was the lady's dad.
So it was the same honey I loved.

This phenomenon seems to happen a lot with food

Hmmm, maybe you are connected to the 4th dimensional plain? lol A sense of knowing if you will.
Funny, i was going to set some hives up near by using the new honey flow systems, means i wouldnt need to buy all the gear and processing to extract the honey, just turn on the tap and it flows out :) ... Maybe in my next spot i may look at that, all depends on the area for what i will do as i think i am rather entrepreneurial.. I think i am a bit of a hobo and 17 years in one spot is a little too long... Love the place and nature, humans not so much! lol

Yes, to the appreciation for nature part.
Don't want an alien landscape like Queenstown in TAS.

That sounds like a convenient method of extraction.
Sale of honey would be a good income supplement.

Yes, Queesntown seems an awesome spot, but has been hit by rich development over the last decade..

Yeah honey seems a nice pass time way to make a little extra, still takes some work on the hives though. Would likely be more for personal use than anything... I have hundreds of ideas and often daily! lol, so never short, as mentioned it will depend on the area. Even getting a cargo container on the cheap and growing shiitake and oyster mushrooms as they get a premium at restaurants, and can use old coffee grinds as a growing medium as it is a big coffee culture here now, another cheap way to start up a business and turnover wouldn't take long with the shrooms :)

You're very enterprising.
Do you have any amazing ideas that you could send my way?

Hmm, well i may have some ideas, but Generally need to understand a certain area, ie population, age group's, the CBD ( Central Business District) Locations, Market research etc etc... But even the mushroom idea can work well! I dont know if you have land to put down a cargo container? but it is a cheap setup and mushrooms can be distributed from a website or contact with companies and restaurants... Most markets here from observation shows that the mushrooms i have talked about are always the first to sold out at any market, so seems room for a good level of growth and competition...

We definitely don't have a restaurant culture where I live.
Or anywhere near me, I'm afraid.
There's quite a large coffee/cafe culture but food choice is limited.
I'm often disappointed when I go out to eat.
I like to cook and "craft" foods are in.
I make a great pesto. :D
Have a lot of paleo modified recipes.

Hmmm, difficult to give an idea without an idea of the area, only if you feel comfortable, pm me you area and i can do a little research into the types of population, ages, and already established businesses.
