Pink celestial glow, like the inside of milk glass.

My back to work meeting today. From this point I consider myself back to work. I might work this Sunday.

Federer and Nadal won their first round matches at the U.S. Open, Nadal winning in straight sets.

I've just discovered I have virtually unlimited US Open tennis because I'm a member of Amazon Prime. Watching Nishikori right now.
Federer didn't really look on his game when he started yesterday, but he rallied when he got going (forgive the pun)

Brownies, made from a boxed mix but still technically homemade, and definitely delicious.

The kitten, of course.

Getting back on track with some things - it's not a lot, but it's something.

Driving home from my holiday along a very nostalgic route. I had my eyes peeled for "KITTENS!" signs, and had a feeling I would find one ... but alas I didn't. It was still a very nice drive, and it's always good to be home.

Thanks, Bender!

I came back much earlier than expected, but it was still nice to get away and go boating.

I have kittens on my mind now, though! :cat: :cat: :cat:

Saw a scrub jay today. Beautiful blue wings. Endangered. Endemic to Florida.

I had a special training day at work yesterday, a mix of special presentations and fun events. We got to create things in one of the activities. I made a button with a picture of a Calico cat.

It was a pretty long day, but it went fast and was enjoyable.
