#1. Unless you were really an "advanced student" (which is possible), "Mony Mony" would have been way before your Uni days. In fact, I would have been about a sophomore in Uni when "Mony Mony" came out.

You probably enjoyed it very much in junior high

1. I wrote a "personal statement" to Bard College (in upstate New York) in crayon.

2. I had an interview at Fairleigh Dickinson (which was called "Fairy Dickinson" by some idiots back then). I looked around at all the nice art. The interviewer found me "hyper." He tried to get me to focus on the interview. Of course, I didn't get in.

3. I did quite well on the SAT. I got in the 1200's, which was over the 90th percentile in 1978.

1 is true. I just googled: it was originally released in 1981, but remixed and rereleased around the time I started Uni.

2 is my lie. Mony Mony was also the fountain song (rather than Duran Duran). There was indeed a big snake. It was massive, possibly a python or boa or something. I've never seen another so big. (Wow, that sounds inappropriate).

3 is true. Squeeze and B52s were popular drinking bands at the pubs and parties (not that I went to very many).

When I was an adolescent I was more into Ozzy and Queen. I still love Ozzy -- his voice is amazing. (Freddy's too).

2. I am the Wolfman.

3 I am Kid Dyno-Mite!

I really liked J. J. from "Good Times."

But my nickname in the 1990's was "Spike of Bensonhurst," because of the movie by that name.

1. My sister and I are both native to Portland and are the only people in our family native to Portland.

2. A few months after I graduated high school in 2008, my mom forced me to break off all contact with an old friend of mine (who was also on the spectrum) because she believed he was gay.

3. The first time I was sent to the principal's office was shortly after I began my sophomore year of high school.

#3. You were probably sent there for other-than-disciplinary reasons earlier.

Nope...number 1 is the lie. I am the only one in my family native to Portland.

My sister is native to Fort Collins, Colorado and our mother is native to Central America.

As for number 2, my mom believed my fellow Aspie (who was like a brother to me) was gay because she believed his interests were not typical of males on the spectrum.

As for number 3, I had a huge crush on a popular girl who sometimes I snuck notes into her locker whenever I was alone. Thankfully, she wasn't a typical "popular girl" (she was actually very sweet with a roguish charm to her personality) and I am glad nothing happened between us.

Photos I discovered today in an old album:

1. Isabella aged 6, in a hand-made Holly Hobby dress complete with a ruffled bonnet and pinafore, squinting in the sunlight next to her father's rosebushes.

2. Isabella aged 2 and her brother (4) driving a push-car through their parents' reception room, with an unnamed and unremembered orange cat in the background.

3. Isabella aged 8 in her ballet outfit, frowning at the camera and refusing to go on stage because the song was called "Never on a Sunday". She had just realized the song was probably about sex, so she felt sick.

1 was true. My aunt made me the Holly Hobby outfit because I loved old-fashioned ragdolls. I actually liked the outfit (I was always out of touch with the day's fashion...) We loaned the outfit to my cousin and never got it back :(

2 is true. No one in my family ever remembered that cat, but my dad rescued many strays over the years.

3 is my lie. The entire story is true except that I was probably 9 and it was my tap dance recital, not ballet. I didn't know what sex was when I was 8.

I had a vague idea. My mother would talk about the man "planting a seed" in a woman in order to "make babies." And that a man and a woman, when they're making a baby, love each other very much. I also knew about the "missionary position"--but nothing else.

1. There's a picture of me, aged 6, with a football helmet. And my brother, age about 11, frowning, also with a football helmet. I had severe holes in my socks.

2. There's a picture of me aged 2 1/2, wearing overalls. My brother, aged 8, was behind me. He was smiling.

3. There's a picture of me, aged almost 5. I was sitting on my father's lap. I had longish hair, even though it was the end of 1965.

2 It seems your brother was never very happy

Nope....he wasn't exactly thrilled with me LOL. But he happened to be smiling in that picture.

Actually, the answer is #3. I had a crew cut, and I was seated on my paternal grandmother's lap.
