Samyutta Nikaya 56.9 -- 'Viggahika Sutta: Wordy Warfare'

Quote:
"Monks, do not wage wordy warfare, saying: 'You don't understand this Dhamma and discipline, I understand this Dhamma and discipline'; 'How could you understand it? You have fallen into wrong practices: I have the right practice'; 'You have said afterwards what you should have said first, and you have said first what you should have said afterwards';[1] 'What I say is consistent, what you say isn't'; 'What you have thought out for so long is entirely reversed'; 'Your statement is refuted'; 'You are talking rubbish!'; 'You are in the wrong'; 'Get out of that if you can!'

"Why should you not do this? Such talk, monks, is not related to the goal, it is not fundamental to the holy life, does not conduce to disenchantment, dispassion, cessation, tranquillity, higher knowledge, enlightenment or to Nibbana. When you have discussions, monks, you should discuss Suffering, the Arising of Suffering, its Cessation, and the Path that leads to its Cessation. Why is that? Because such talk is related to the goal... it conduces to disenchantment... to Nibbana. This is the task you must accomplish."

..'what I should have said was, "I disagree with the premise of the question, which is that a possible future threat is always justification for every actual present, concrete, form of coercive security." But what I actually said truthfully, was, "S--- I'm about to miss my train!".

There is a difference between not searching for work b/c of laziness and there is a difference between not searching for work b/c of futility. It won’t stop a wave of accusation due to the former if I keep myself productive with courses and hobbies.

Commitments I like and get scolded for in contrast to commitments I hate and don’t commented for.

How sometimes all you have is old photographs in a book or pictures inside one's mind and nothing more.

That's a good question, as I don't have a substantial answer

Will pumpkin seed butter taste as good as peanut butter, I wonder, now that I can no longer have the latter?

^Not the kind that most people have. It turns out that peanut butter has a certain yeast in it that doesn't sit well with me, so I've been trying different nut butters to see if I like any.

I reached up to 16:36/25:00

with this video I start being able to drop the habit of being an obsessive completionist who watches even unimportant stuff to the bitter end.

Invention, patent, discovery, different, new,

Creative, think outside the box

Ghrelin, oxytocin, leptin, dopamine, serotonin, hormones, mood disorder, sweat gland removal

Last year, in the dojo, four hours I was itchy

Once it was cold

That was the only time I was itchy and that itchy

With this personality nobody will ever hire me or be my friend

And that is not their fault

Just a "miscommunication"

Miscommunication bound to happen

For as long as my misotheistic/ philosophically pessimistic worldview remains practicing assertion is going to look like 'divine fuelled entrapment' without having a dense understanding as to what reasons would provide for not expecting retaliation.

In hindsight I find it disturbing how someone in the pre-Obama era late 00's in high school ask crudely to someone how much it pay would it take for him to perform in gay pornography :| .

I miscalculated how much space I actually had and fell off a 4-foot stage yesterday. No major damage done just a bit of soreness, but it's one of those things where I'm not even sure where my head was at. I didn't even process the fact that I was falling off until I was halfway down.
