that mentality of "it comes when it comes" is for attractive people for whom dating is a waiting game. tell someone like me who NEEDS to make the first step or be left behind that "itll come when it comes" and he spends the rest if his life alone because he was duped into thinking that things will just fall into his lap, no effort put in
Actually I think mine comes from a lot of guilt about bad things I did and feeling worthless and invalueable to the world. Plus I still miss my best friend who passed away in 2012 and I feel like I was a terrible friend because I never visited him or went to his funeral...
